Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

Thanks everyone for the well
Wishes - I'm home now. Possible dehydration and some mild anemia that caused my symptoms but good news - blood clots are GONE! My repeat CT scan was totally clear. Woohoo! Now I can stop worrying about that at least!

Awesome! :yay:

We (DH, DD and me) are at CSR from 11/26-12/3. Plans include:
11/26 - dinner at Boma - hoping ROL might be running so we can pop over to AK to see it.
11/27 - MK + exploring WL/GF Christmas decorations
11/28 - HS
11/29 - Disney Springs, then MVMCP
11/30 - AK
12/1 - Epcot
12/2 - MK
12/3 - back home to cold and snow :(

We have hoppers and mostly open evenings, so may hop around a bit as well.

Why did you pick basketball?

We used touring plans and picked a quiet room close to food and transportation and they recommended that building. Also, my son is a huge basketball fan :)

Of course they are! They obviously have terrible timing!!!:teeth:

Well I've done gone and decided to change almost ALL of my plans (don't worry, I don't have many plans!). I don't like the flow of my first day moving from Universal to WDW and going to the MVMCP. Too hectic and a very long day. So I think I'm going to try and call and move my MVMCP from 11/27 to 12/1, and I'll plan to not use any park days on 12/1, just the party ticket. So we'll have a nice morning/afternoon break day, which is very much needed in my plan!

My next major change is going to be flying home Monday morning 12/5 instead of late Sunday night 12/4. Airfare is cheaper and we weren't planning to go to work Monday anyway. The question here is where to stay the night of 12/4? The BW villas are all booked so can't reserve a 1 night there and hope not to move rooms. BWI does have a standard room available. Wilderness Lodge has a room available and I really had my heart set on staying there originally, but it is expensive of course. The cheap option is to just taxi it on over to a Marriott at the airport and stay free with points. Then it should be easy to make our morning flight. I think I'm leaning towards this option because I'm already thinking of adding to the budget...see next item!

And finally, I've been very tempted to book an EMM after reading reviews. PPO breakfasts didn't really appeal to me for how pricey they are, so I don't have any of those. This might lead to some park changes since it's only offered certain days.

It's going to be a busy planning weekend for me!

Well, our a/c quit working late today. Actually, it's hard to say when it really went out, but it's out now. At least it's not so hot right now. Dh did everything he could think of (resetting it, turning it off and on, checking breakers, etc...) and nothing will make it kick on. We won't bother having them come out tonight ($$) but will probably call in the morning and at least find out how much it would cost to fix it. If we have to replace the whole thing, it can wait for spring. We only need it for another week or two anyway at this point. Ugh! Happy Birthday to me!

Has he opened it up? Ours went out one year because it had been invaded by hordes of ants. Once we cleaned them out and reset stuff, it was okay.
