I am already obsessing over ADRs, lol.
We did almost all buffets last year.I've started to make my list! I think I'll be going against conventional wisdom and we'll do a few breakfasts and dinners at the same restaurants (like H&V breakfast followed by Minnie's Holiday Dine - or whatever it's called). We like buffets because of the kids (picky eaters and teenage boy who can eat more than the rest of us combined!) but none of us wants to leave the parks to eat so we're a bit limited.
How difficult is it to book BOG for lunch? And BOG breakfast/lunch is the only QS restaurant that requires an ADR, right?
Thank you! I'll give it a shot.Every booking at BOG is equally difficult to get. Yes, BOG is the only QS that requires an ADR.

I've never booked on a free dining week, but we usually travel in January and February. We've always booked in October after the 180 days have passed. We got bog for dinner in January 2014 really easily and in February lunch was no problem. I booked a few weeks after the adr window opened. I kept checking and breakfasts frequently came available maybe like once every couple of weeks. I didn't watch for dinner though. We really enjoyed both meals and have breakfast on our list there for this trip.
Thank god for the fd rightWe got our breakfast and dinner there well after the 180 day window during FD last October. Just have to check often!
Breakfast was good and we got 2 rides on the mine train before park opened...but man is it overpriced if you're paying OOP!
Total sense, thanks! Now the December park sched has to come out so I can figure out when we'll be at MK at the end of our stay.Tough, but possible. If you're staying onsite you can book at 180 days like everyone else, but also for the 10 day period after. So if you can, shoot for BOG toward the end of your stay since the offsite guests can't book that far in advance yet. Make sense?
I haven't eaten at LTT but I wanted to give our experience at CP. When we went a few years ago, that was the one that my kids were like, "Really, Mom???" But it turned out to be one of their favorites-so much so that it's on our list for this year. Even my hubby-who does not love DisneyHas anyone eaten at LTT? I want to do BOG dinner if possible, but thought maybe we should try something else this time too...and Crystal palace is pooh characters which is not up any of our alleys haha.
I just ordered a Disney cricut font cartridge so I can make us all peronalized shirts. So excited. Now to get ADRs planned!
