Planning around trying to be at the SW fireworks has been the core of my entire trip....I will cry if this rumor is true.

Throw some Santa hats on the storm troopers for the March. Give chewie a holiday colored bandolier. Hang some mistletoe over Kylo. Holiday up whatever. But don't put the show on hold! They have hyped it so much. I may cry too if we can't see it.

Dress up Han and Leia as Santa and Mrs Clause. Throw a Rudolph nose on some jawas.

They could do so much holiday crap without taking away a nighttime show that has been so popular.

Blargh. I'm seriously so annoyed about this possible development.

Speculation is that they just didn't change the actual start date and that May was still for this past May when it was supposed to go live.

Seems weird that if ROL is so close to debuting for real this time that they would wait until spring to capitalize on the dining packages.

As with everything Disney...I guess time will tell!

I posted this over on the ROL superthread, but I could see them operating ROL on standby-only or a combo of standby and fastpasses for the first 6 months before starting with dining packages. Wouldn't it be refreshing to be able to book a ROL dining package when your 180 window opens rather than scrambling at the last minute to switch things around to make room for it?

I'm all drugged up, but I think it said it was for Tusker House and Flame Tree only, so maybe your right about it being info from this past May, let's hope so.

Does anyone know if you can use DP for California Grill brunch? Or is it only good for dinner?

Anyone else feel like some of the fun in planning has been taken away this trip? I absolutely loved planning our last 2 trips. It's like a puzzle trying to put all the pieces together and I enjoy that.

So when we booked this trip I wanted to focus on doing the new things like ROL, Star Wars fireworks, new Soarin and FEA.

Then I found it hard to get the ADRS at 180 days, harder than in the past. Fastpass went ok but availability for FEA was tough.

And with rumors of ROL and Star Wars...who knows what's going to happen. I tried to leave room in our schedule for them but man! Having to constantly check for updates and afraid I might miss a dining package or FP announcement for ROL has made me so stressed I have been yelling at my kids.

Ok rant over, but I would like a glass of wine!

Margarita for me please! LOL, but seriously, it is a little stressful especially being so close to the trip and still missing pieces of that puzzle (pieces that Disney is still holding back!)

I booked just a few weeks ago. So far I haven't even been able to get dining reservations at the resort I am staying at, much less at the parks.
