wedding

oh AP all the way! Plus an extra trip sounds like a great idea:thumbsup2

YES i think i will disney credit it now!!

Haha the 'smelling of the present' move! haha!! Bless him! :lmao:

BTW- whos dog is that!! its too friggin cute! That photo of the cake looks just YUM! I am a sucker for glaze/icing!

It would make sense to get the AP's!! Even if you only went there for your honeymoon and then once more- its totally worth it!

let me tell you, MAKE THAT ICING GIRLS it is fab!!!

Thats vins dog scrappie lol

OMG the little cupcake!!! LOVE IT!-if i was getting married in NY i would TOTALLY get a cupcake wedding cake from there. they are my favorite-even more than crumbs-actually tied with magnolias. whenever my girlies come from rockland they always make me take them there to get cupcakes for them and their husbands!!!

hmmm...Well there is a new owner b/c they have been there i think a little over a year. she is really cool. 3rd ave is sooooo far from me just to get nails done-if i had a car thats one thing but i don't need one right now. i do want to check out this fruit place!

by the way-your food looks awesome-you are like little betty home maker-lol glad vin enjoyed his b-day!

Ive never been to magnolias but I hear its awesome. Yea I walk everywhere because Im a dummy. were right on 11th so its not too far, and st a's is on 4th so i usually walk from there.

DEF check out the fruit store...to die for!

My vote is an AP if you are coming back again within the year for sure. You'll be able to get discounts with it too. 10% off shopping at World of Disney, you can buy the Tables in Wonderland card to get 20% off your food and alcohol, discounts on tours etc. , and for your next trip you can get a discount on your room similar to what your uncle got you for your honeymoon.

My other options for you though would be, don't get park hopping for the two day ticket, if you are going to be here for 12 days I'm sure you can find 2 days that you will only go to one park, that would save you about 50 bucks each right there :thumbsup2
Or I could wave my magic wand and get you into the park with my super awesome silver pass on Sat and Sun while you are here and then you would only need to buy 10 day tickets.

I bought my veil off of etsy. It's a great site. It's like ebay only without the bidding and it's primarily handmade items. You can set up an online store through them. You can take custom orders or sell pre-made stuff too. I say go for it!

Oh and I will come over and help Vinnie eat those lobster cakes next time

Okay so if i buy a AP it will help with next years room rate!?!? That would be perfect as it will be me vin and my mother!

Oooo yes, vin finally has a lobster twin!

Just a Tease...:lmao:

Photobucket is not working and I planned on getting some of my pictures of the aisle runner up...

So, here is the one picture that has actually loaded...

I promise to update with how-to's so that you can try on your own!:wizard:

Are there any other photo uploading sites other than photobucket?

So there is only one picture and I am already in awe! Jen you are so creative!!! I've decided to take on the task of making my own invitations, I will let you know how that goes haha. Thanks for all the beautiful ideas!

oooh love the runner! :goodvibes

I was going to ask you, have you got a 'plan of the day' written up yet? You know, like a list of events in running order from when you wake up til the late evening of the wedding day?

I remember looking at my cousins 'list of events' that he gave my brother as he was an usher and was in charge of the list and had to make sure everything was right on schedule and everyone was in the right places at the right time!- it was some crazy list!! it was like, 2 pages long, and included everything from when the bride woke up, to her having breakfast to her 'last minute toilet breaks'!

I know that kinda list that my brother was given is extreem, but do you have anything written up for the day?

(haha its funny because i think its not like you are going to forget what needs to happen!! (eg: put on dress, bride needs to go to church, needs to say 'i do'.. haha) hehe but nice to have to keep on time!)

Drum Roll Please.........

AISLE RUNNER MADNESS!!

Okay so it's much harder to explain than I thought. It took me about a week to complete...

First, you have to find a program that will allow you to make a poster. I used printmastersilver. It was only 10 dollars in my local staples store but i know I can find it online as well.

So, now measure your aisle runner and make that poster into the size you want your monogram. I also created my monogram. I drew it out and then scanned it into the computer in black and white. It is fairly easy.

Then you have to cut and fit the pieces together so that they form the monogram, but large

DSC_0142.jpg

Then you have to place it under the aisle runner. I would MAKE SURE you do it on a flat surface where it can not move

DSC_0145.jpg

Trace the aisle runner monogram onto the aisle runner itself

DSC_0146.jpg

Pick two colors for your monogram. I have seen ones in more than one color and the last name innitial just doesnt "POP" as much as two .

Now, once you are done tracing its time to begin to outline in THIN paint

and let it dry COMPLETELY

And then when its done, sit back and smile!
