I think everyone would want to be in Jens class - i look on them websites you post when you have done cool things and i think 'wow i never got to do that!'

That cake- well i am only good at a few desserts and food dishes, but that cake just makes me go but seeing that cake you made last year- which looked like the scrummiest cake ive ever seen- i think this might be a good one!! hehe!!

Destination...Mother of the Bride Dress...Complete

So, I was still feeling pretty terrible on Saturday. So, I told my mother that I thought I should wait till Sunday to make the trip all the way out to the mall.

The mall is big in itself, and so I figured that flip flops would be fine....

Boy was I wrong....

So, We stopped off for fuel.... human style

with a egg white sandwich from Dunkin (All under 250 calories...yum)

And then headed out with the windows closed and the air conditioning on in the beautiful weather (Oy hot flashes)

So we waited outside of Nordstroms for it to "officially" open, when a nice tall man in the Nordstrom gray and blue suit opened the door "Good Mornin'"

(Oh how I love nice people)

So, mom automatically hits up the frumpy dresses.

You know, the ones she used to wear before dropping from 180 to 125 lbs....

And they all made her LOOK BIGGER than she is! She worked her tooshie off and I said "ENOUGH ALREADY"and grabbed a few form fitting dresses...



Mum walked out and said Wow I look good!

Of course none were in her size or color...

Macys... .nope
JCPennys...nope
Bloomies...nope
Ann Taylor...nope

So, we jumped back in the car and hit the last place... another mall with a Davids bridal in it...

Of course mom had now gone out of "form fit mode"and went back to the frumpy ones but I WAS NOT HAVIGN IT!

I wanted her to look like a queen...

I wanted her to feel special...

So, I graba mocha colored taffeta dress and say "PUT THIS ON" (I was in love with it)

She walks out and i knew... it was the one

She looked so stunning.And SKINNY. She deserves it!

Now, once we did that I decided since it was her "Mothers day out" I would takeher to the cheesecake factory for lunch...

YUM-O

thats all Ic an say. Salad was calling out our names...

Except.. while sitting there I realized the flip flops I was wearing, now sliced my foot and i was bleeding...

Sicne we were now heading back to the original mall for moms shoes and accesories, I pulled out my macys gift cards and purchased a pair of coach sneakers for 40.00!!!!

So, we both won yesterday!

Ipromise to post pics of her dress...it is stunning!

Ohhh coach sneakers too - i saw them when i was in Orlando but i wasnt prepared to pay the price for them! I would have got 2 or 3 pairs if they were $40!! haha!! Well done you! great bargain!

Its all coming and going eh! all this wedding planning and making will soon be over and then Jenny can rest and then get married and then have a disneymoon of a lifetime! whoop whoop

My mom, who used to be a photog gave me awesome pointers with my d40, so I started to practice on him playing in the yard! I just think no matter what he couldnt take a bad pic!

I have to ask, someone at school was telling me about some Catholic school in NY that has the swine flu going around really bad. And my first thought was oh no, Jen was sick. It wasn't your school was it!?

Best Buy has the Nikon D200 on sale for only $600 and Jeff kept telling me today to buy it because you can get 18 months no interest. But I haven't come close to mastering the D40, no way am I moving on to a professional camera lol

Nope but one of my kids dads works there and I got checked. I luckily just have severe sinusitus, strep throat and epstein barr induced mono

Sunday is vin and I's one year since getting engaged and he has something planned! Supposidly its a 1:30 ressie followed by something outside that I shuold bring my camera for...

grapefruit cake!

I hid a card under his pillow, and as soon as we wake up I am going to give him his first gift...The pinocchio mug for his breakfast!
I was praying to get mickey waffels but they were a no find

So.. I HAVE NO IDEA what we are doin sunday, but it did require a ressie so who knows... oh and I Have to dress really nice

So confused!

A little bit bummed out...

I dont want to write too much here because I dont want anyone to know that I may know what may be something I dont know...

I overheard fmil this morning talking to my ssiter in law about "getting out of the house early sunday and going to joannes and getting ready from there"



At first i thought nothing of it, but, vinnie made sunday SUCH a big deal... that now I am worried it is my shower.... and that I wont be surprised.... and to figure it out FOUR days before really stinks...Although I am sure I will still be crying hysterical and shocked... it still kinda stinks...
