My Shower, May 3, 2009
So, yesterday WAS my shower!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, I was completely shocked, and I'll explain why!
When I woke up in the morning, vinnie said "Lets get the rest of the tiles that we need for the shower" So, Looking at the time I said okay sure
By the time we got back, he said he had everything timed and we had to get ready. But, that we needed the gps. So, I text my mother and told her we would be stopping by because I needed my gps....
she responded
"Are you kidding me? You just woke me up, and your gps is not here. You know I am sick why do you keep texting me. Let me sleep"
So I was mad. She was being so mean!!!!!!!!!!!
So, okay, finally, i get ready, and I realize its raining, and asked vin if I should change. He said no and looked rather handsome himself , so I kept the clothes I had on.
Finally on our way there, he said "We're going to the harbor light!" My favorite pub in all of the world. "They have irish music sundays!"
Now, this is the place we had my engagement party. They let us have the entire restaurant, and closed it just for us. So, I knew the second that I walked in, I would see everyone...
BUT, I didn't.
As we were walking in, vinnie was holding my hand, and there was NO ONE but regular lunch people having lunch. In a way I was relieved because I said "Okay now I can just enjoy my meal in peace"
But, a second late he said "No, not down here, I have a special table for us upstairs"...
Thats when I said "Um, Why are we going upstairs"
Well, turns out they renovated upstairs and... as I turned the corner...
SURPRISE!!!
I was beyond overwhelmed with tears and shaking like a itchy dog!
I couldn't believe how many people were there.
Of course afterwards I found out and realized, that no one on my side came. Which is not usual, but still hurts, and I know my mother wa supset since the shower was basically for vinnies family and my friends...
But.. overall it was beyond BEAUTIFUL. Wait until I post pics later tonight!!!!!!
