Is anyone thrilled with the quality of your personalized wedding website? I am very happy that so much info is included on it and guests can book online with their special rate.

I just received the link to my wedding website... on mine there is a lot that needs to be edited. Do we do that completely through our coordinator or is there a site that we can edit it on?

We just got ours yesterday too! I like it, but wish there could be more decor than just picking one of 6 colors. (Have you ever done a website on theknot.com? Their options are great!!) We only have one adjustment that needs to be made on ours, but we can't do anything about it right now. The drop down menu for ticket prices only has options for 2005 & 2006, but not 2007 (which is when our wedding is.) Pam said they can't fix it yet because the prices haven't been released :confused3 She said they'll update it asap when it's available.

That's sooooooooo cool that Disney gives you websites!!! Where can I see some of what your sites look like? :thumbsup2
Oh, and one of my work friends uses a website from theknot.com and it's a really simple site, but it's so cute! :) She says that posting your registry on it is really easy.

My fiance made our site. :)

You can see a sample disney site on the disneyweddings.com site on wishbook. It's Cinderella and Prince Charming's!

I didn't think there was anything too wonderful or special about it. I didn't like that I couldn't edit it on my own. I ended up making my own wedding website, which was much better. Disney never even let me pick out the color background I wanted for the site and I had to always contact our wedding planner to add or update info. Then, the info. was never put in correctly. I think the sites are a tad dull and no personalization added. Some of the info. is still wrong on it...haha! Oh well, it's all over now! :) Anyway...here's the link to site Disney gave us if someone wants to see it.

The MK photo session costs $800 and you receive a 12-print 4x6 wedding folio. :) You have to get married at WDW to do this and vow-renewal counts too! princess:

i wasnt impressed with disneys wedding site either, except for the first paragraph you couldnt personalize anything like add photos and more in depth descriptions of events. we created a site on theknot.com which we used for our march wedding.

tonya your wedding website it awesome, congratulations! tell your fh he did a great job.

Yeah I am not thrilled with the Disney website at all but hey it is free!!!. I will offer it to my guests so they can make ressies and what we bought a wedding window account. I have recieved many compliments from my guests about the amount of info on the site and the design. Once our Disney site is up and running I will just link it there.

Here is the site if anyone was thinking of doing this sort of thing but wants to check it out first:

That's awesome! How did you set it up? The only thing I like about the Disney site is that people can book their rooms and tickets right on our website. I think that's awesome! Otherwise, not very impressed.

Thank you. I actually bought the domain name from www.weddingwindow.com it is like $100 for 18 months. They help you set it up. True while it cost money and more time it is so customizable you create any category you want and can link any website to your own.

For a free website the knot and weddingchannel offer very nice ones as well, but they have less customizable options than wedding window.

We are also in the process of creating a website for our guests to get the full schedule of what will go on the weekend of the wedding, but we are not getting married for another two years so we have time :surfweb:

Pixie08,

Your site is phenomenal! How did you two create that? Maybe you should make a mini-tutorial on here for all of us who are not that talented. :cheer2: Now I really don't want the disney website after seeing yours!

lol! Thanks ....it is a wedding window site. I had to pay a little for it and it takes some effort to set up but I can't say enough about wedding window they give you all the tools needed to create a great customized site and best part is you can link you Disney site and any other site to it. www.weddingwindow.com
