I am getting married in June so we have two wedding showers planned soon but I have no idea what I TRUELY NEEDso I can request from the people buying gifts. I would just like some help making a list of the most needed things, we have registered at WalMart and for our China but where else should we Register. Also my registry at walmart is VERY long and I think I may have included too many small items, such as small kitchen things. I JUST REALLY NEED HELP AND WOULD LOVE SOME ADVICE AND FOR YOU TO SHARE YOUR TRUELY NEEDED GIFT IDEAS. PLEASE HELP SOON!!!!!!!!

What kinds of things are you in need of? When DH and I registered years ago we already had the things we needed the most. So our registry wasn't too extensive. We registered at Crate and Barrel but I have a ton of friends who registered at places like Target, Home Depot (those who were purchasing/just purchased homes), and Bed Bath and Beyond. There is nothing wrong with registering for the little things that you are looking to replace or don't yet have. Also keep in mind what your guests budgets might be. We registered for inexpensive items such as small kitchen utensils and gadgets right on up to middle of the road wine glasses and then china and silverware.

If you are trying to fill out your registry consider what your interests are. Do you like to host dinner parties and get togethers, barbques that type of thing as it might help influence the items that you register for.

Do either of you like to cook? Then you could register for small appliences, cookware, cookbooks, etc

Do you have most of the things you need but what to update your stuff? Consider items for the home like a wine rack, framed artwork, bedroom and bathroom items.

We're not being shy about our registry. It helps me keep track of things I need/want and things I need to replace. Some people like the idea of getting a bunch of the little things and making a gift basket or a bundle of presents instead of getting you one big thing, so I wouldn't feel bad about that. Have you thought about amazon.com? They are partnered with several stores so people wouldn't have to buy it online. We plan to add a new set of pots, new china, glasses, silverware, towels, bedding - our big stuff is covered so we're looking to replace the mismash of things we got when we moved in together almost 4 years ago.
