Wedding dresses

I saw this one in one of my many bridal magazines! It's gorgeous!!!!

Thanks! I had my first fitting but still don't like the pics of SIL is taking!:rotfl: It may be because the lighting in the bridal shop is really weird and not usual store lighting..it's like yellowy...or maybe she just doesn't know how to take a good pic. :lmao: There's also like hardly any room when I try it on, so we can't get the type of view of it I would want to post...we'll keep trying though!

But I do LOVE the dress!!!! It's soo me! I'm not a princess dress type of girl (although I was like in my 20's-it was what I has always wanted) but I love it because it's different. It's very light and delicate. I was going to go with a sweep train (and cut the existing one) but my mom, SIL and niece convinced me to keep it the chapel length. Which I'm glad for because after looking at so many DISbrides, I really like the way the trains look in pics.

Thanks again for the nice words!:flower3:

Here is a pic of my DIL's dress from June 2004. My son and DIL had a rose garden wedding that was held at the University they both attended. It laced up the back. She was georgeous!! She actually saw the dress at a wedding expo that we attended and as she walked by it she knew that was the dress for her.

Wow. Everyone's dresses look wonderful!! I love the one's with sleeves. It's so unique.

Here's mine. It's a Kirstie Kelly disney dress. Though she's not my favorite princess, it's a Sleeping Beauty dress.

Love the Sleeping Beauty dress, its beautiful!! Do you mind me asking how much it was, and where you found it? Im just curious about the prices for the Disney dresses. Thanks!

I am having an at-home Disney themed wedding, and I have collected lots of ideas from the boards. So I thought I would join in the fun and share my dress. The first two are from my final fitting today. The camera settings were a little off, so even with editing, the colors are a little off too. My dress is ivory with silver detailing.

Back detail view. The tie will end in a bow with the rest of the tie tucked into the dress.

A photo from the first fitting to show the side detail. My hair is also as it will be for the wedding.

I love it and can't wait to wear it down the aisle in exactly 1 month! :goodvibes

Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to ever wear my wedding gown :( It's brand new...still in the bag. I was wondering if there were any sites out there for people to sell their gowns? I posted on craigslist but wasn't sure if there was anything else I could try! If anyone has any advice that would be awesome! thanks so much

:grouphug: I'm sorry!

I always hear Craigslist........
Is there a consignment shop near you??

popstar7627 - sorry to hear that you aren't able to wear your dress.

I sold my original dress. I took it down to a consignment shop. I sold it with the veil as well, which the sales lady said would help in selling it. I told them what I would ask for it, and it sold within a couple of weeks for asking price. Unfortunately you will take a loss, but hopefully since it has never been used it won't be too bad. Good luck.

They way it is SUPPOSE to look..
