Wedding Crasher: Lurkyloo’s 4 Parties in 3 Nights with 2 Cameras and 1 Fabulous Hat

Your wedding video is the prettiest I have ever seen. :cloud9: Congrats on the win!

About those too sweet cupcakes...after gorging ourselves at 1900 Park Fare on my boyfriend's birthday last year, I got them to bring him out a cupcake. It was so sickly sweet, I'm pretty sure we each ended up with two cavities per bite we took.

Congrats Carrie and Patrick! Show those Knotties that Disney weddings rock!!!

Love the Roots pictures. Do you think they will come around with me in January and take pictures of our trip? :rotfl: They have talent!!!

Yes! But only after you said something. LOL
Did anyone see the hidden Mickey in the water fountain, page 12 installment 175, 17th picture down, it's down and slightly right of center. I think lurkeyloo may have clued us in, but I didn't see anyone mention it.

I think I might see it, is it in the water ripples or the coins?

OK, I just got a big project to do at Real Work, so I may not get to an update today. :sad1:

However, in the meantime, please join me in :banana::banana: over the fact that we won Best Wedding Video in The Knot Magazine's 2nd Annual Real Wedding Awards!

This is a big deal for me b/c the posters on the Knot's national message boards are notoriously vicious about Disney weddings, so I feel as though I have achieved a victory for Disney brides everywhere. :rotfl:

<Sighs heavily and happily>That video makes me cry every time I watch it. ::yes::
I've been a lurking for a while now :sail:, and just recently added a couple of posts. I just wanted to say that when I first stumbled onto your reports, (I found you by your suggestion of a dessert party for a person asking what they could do special for their parents while at WDW, the parents had paid for everyone's trip) right off the bat I was struck with awe at the talent of your writing, your so much fun to read! Your wedding was truly beautiful and very touching. I'm a huge fan of Disney, and I've always wondered if (no flames please) Disney weddings could be done tastefully or were they kinda cheesy??? But you truly put all my wonders to rest.
I had so much fun taking the trip with you while you were planning, I feel like I was able to share yours and Patricks amazing journey, you two are truly a special couple and I pray that the Lord will bless you both.
Now because of your reports and your wedding, my daughter (mind you she's 9) thinks that she now wants a Disney wedding some day! :woohoo: I'm thrilled! She's young, but brain washing can be started young, right? LOL
:confused3 Whaaaat, you all know your thinking it too. ;)
Hands down, your video was the best! So yeaaa for you proving that Disney weddings can and are being done tastefully and beautifully. :cloud9:
BTW, Jensey is precious!

Love the "getting sassy with Push" pic - where you are shaking your finger at him/her/it????? Were you able to convince him/her/it the virtues of Disneyland???

 I love Monsters Inc Laugh Floor! I can't beleive they got the number wrong! I'm going to try and stump him when we go! The kids will get a big kick out of that!

Another great installment, Carrie! The scuba weights comment about your sandals cracked me up. I bet you'd be so much fun to hang out with!

I watched your wedding video today. I'd followed along on your wedding TR, but never took the time to watch it. How beautiful! No wonder it won :)

So about that Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake.... sweet merciful crap, it was amazing! It was WAY more rich and delicious than the cake they used to have at Sunshine Seasons. For one thing, it’s got a frosting/mousse/whatever layer in the middle that the other doesn’t have, plus you get peanut butter and chocolate frosting. I highly recommend it!

How 'bout a thanks to me for telling you about it? :thumbsup2

Love the part about PUSH! Hilarious!

We had a cupcake at CP on our HM. My teeth hurt after trying to eat it. I had to scrape the icing off as it was just grossly sweet!

My Coworker and I finally caught up on your trip report, it took us three whole days. we had to stop every time our boss walked in. didnt want to get in trouble! hee hee :surfweb:

ALSO..... Congrats on your WIN!! the video was soo pretty!

We were married at the wedding pavillion in July 2003. It was a second marriage for both of us. At the time my daughter was only six. I have been telling her ever since. "What do you say to a boy if he asks you to marry?"

Her reply is of course to answer with a question, "Can we get married at Disney?" Poor guy I've been coaching her for years that if he says NO her answer is NO.

:lmao:

Yay! He got it wrong!

I'm also relieved to hear you enjoyed the Laugh Floor more this time. I hate when I build something up for/to you, and you end up not liking it!

:yay::yay:

Another stellar update. Loved that your were talkin' trash with that garbage can!

Have to go to a soccer tournament this weekend, so I hope there aren't 10 pages to read when I get home. Thought about taking the computer, but then I would be in the room DIS'ing instead of taking in the action on the fields.

I'm going out of town tonight until Monday afternoon and I thought this too! :) This TR may take up my entire Monday night (but that's ok too! ;) ).

I have no plans as, apparently, I have no life....hmmm.

So, please update soon Carrie - else I'll be staring at a flickering screen all weekend, and it will make me sad.
