Wedding Colors? How did you pick and what are they?

i had a "winter" wedding in disney and it was 75 degrees outside. I didn't stick t winter colors at all. I had turqous blue and hot pink. When itold people what the colors were alot of them looked at me like, are you crazy :lmao: but they ended up looking amazing together. i found the color palate by brousing wedding on theknot.

I actually can't decide between those two colours and was really leaning towards the turquoise but then thought the pink would be easier for flowers. Didn't think of using both :)

Purple has always been my favorite color, so I knew I had to use it. We both adore fall and Halloween is our favorite holiday, so we picked orange as the second color. Our shades are actually very 'autumn harvest'....deep, almost burgundy purple, and a very warm orange, they look amazing together and are very suitable for our 10/24 wedding!

ha i was the same way. i wanted something that would pop but i wasn't really loving anything until i put the turqoius and hot pink together and i loved it. i was originally going to go all pink but it was just too much.

I can't imagine that at all! Do you have any inspiration pics b/c I'm really interested to see what they look like together

were using black and red. i didnt want to use a bright color that my fiance wouldnt like, and we both liked black and red together.

That combination is plastered all over WDW during halloween! That was my original inspiration, since we're all about halloween, but when I actually started buying decor for our wedding I changed the palette a bit to deeper shades so it's not as garish.

I didn't make any inspiration collages or anything like that, but there are tons with the combo on google. Here's a pretty one:

I had to change my color scheme from White, Baby Blue, Lilac, Baby Pink, & Mint Green(DH hated the mint green and thinks 2 out of his 3 Best Men won't wear it) to Red, White, & Black for a 1st of June VR. The girls will be wearing red with black or white polkadots or white with either black or red polkadots(for Minnie Mouse) & DH thinks white & Red shirts for the guys with an embroidered Mickey Mouse will work for all the guys(without complaints).

Really gorgeous, I love it. :)

Ooh, that is really pretty, I couldn't picture it at all, but that is nice!

My favorite color is moss green.
My darling's favorite is blue.
I told him I would go with blue.
He said I should go with green.
So we are going with blue AND green :)
It is at Sunset Point so we are beaching it up a bit and will tie it together with a blue/green print shirt dress for my tomboy, while my princess is getting a matching dress to me. I told him he should go with a tie dyed bow tie since he turned down the velvet suit idea :P

I didn't want to compete with the strong colors in our reception (Ariels) so I tried to find a color theme that complemented it. We had chosen a vintage sea-side theme, so I went with a blue-green range from mint to navy. Complimented that with silver and then copper for the bridal party, which were easier colors to find for the table setting. The room provided a lot of blue-green and copper tones by itself!

My :lovestruc colour combination is black and pink....after much deliberation and several colour schemes later, we settled on black, hot pink, white....now we're thinking of hot pink, blush pink and white :cloud9:
