Wedding and Honeymoon Photos

Hi all!

I am incredibly late in doing this, but I have been asked by a few of my pals on the Disboards to share some of my wedding and honeymoon pictures. My DH Trevor and I got married on October 12th, 2011 at the Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Studios, FL and we celebrated our honeymoon at the Boardwalk Villa's in WDW.

I am a known disney fanatic and although we wanted to have a magical Disney wedding, it just wasn't in the budget. So instead, I had my Disney themed wedding at a Universal property. I'm excited to share these photos with you guys because really and truly, it was the best day of my life. Here are some pre-ceremony pics:

Our photographer, Jennifer Werneth, was beyond amazing. In her package she includes an engagement shoot, but because we were coming from Boston, we really didn't have time to do that. Instead, she suggested a honeymoon photoshoot at our favorite park or anywhere else we wanted. We decided to do ours at Downtown Disney. It was a great time and a lot of laughs. Here are the pics:

Thank you so much! At first, I was really distraught about not being able to afford my Disney wedding, but being able to have a Disney themed wedding at somewhere beautiful like the Portofino, really made up for it. Not to mention it was 1/4 of the price Disney would have charged!

Plum, contact Just Marry! This is the name of the company that helped me. They also do intimate weddings at the WDW Swan and Dolphin resorts. My coordinators name was Karen Ginerich and she can be reached at Karen@justmarry.com. They are on Facebook as well.

They will be able to give you venue pricing right away, but for floral, cakes, etc, they will be priced individually and could take a few days. Just to give you a couple of pricepoints....my venue rental was $500.00, horse and carriage $595, cake $250.00, violinist $200.00, photography $1000 (including honeymoon shoot). In all, no reception included (we only had 5 guests) the total was $3300.

Wow, what a beautiful location! Your looked beautiful and the colors you chose really popped and worked well with the venue. Thanks for sharing. I didn't realize that Just Marry booked for that location, I used JM for my swan vow renewal.
