besides the water being ice cold, any idea what the weather woud be like in vero during the easter break 04? We dont go in the ocean much but my 2 1/2 yo son wouldn't mind playing in the sand/pool all day.

In my trip there at that time of year I wouldn't have called the seawater "ice cold". Refreshing maybe, but certainly it's not that cold that it would completely rule out a quick dip or paddle. The air temps have been anywhere from mid 70s to low 90s, much depends on wind strength and direction, but IMHO it's a great time of year to go. Rarely is it oppressively hot and humid but it's warm enough to sit comfortably most of the day.

Vero is the start of the tropical region of Florida. The gulf stream is just offshore. The water off Vero never really gets "icy cold" and will probably be very enjoyable in April. Air temps will be in the 80's and maybe even 90's, as Vernon described.

we were there this past April and it was hot. The pool was comfortable and the ocean was definitely swimmable....
