Weather in September?

My DH and I are considering taking a cruise in Sept. We'll start out with 3nights since this will be our 1st cruise to see if we like it. What is the weather typically like in Sept? We are thinking toward the end of the month but would like some weather input from anyone that has sailed then.

We went last Sept. Found the weather was great. But the CM's were commenting that the day we were at CC was the best day that they had for the past 2 weeks. Not sure if we were just lucky or what. The temp was still hot and it was humid. It did rain briefly in Nassau - mid day shower. Not bad all in all. We sailed on the 11th and missed a couple of hurricanes. The only thing you need to worry about. Althought the captain can and will sail around any storm and try to stay out of it's path. You may not be able to dock at CC but it is more likely to not dock in Feb than Sept. We are planning on a Oct sailing next. Just to beat some of the heat and humidity.

First I just want to say that I LOVE the pictures of your beagle. I am very sad because we just lost our beloved beagle JC on Feb 6th...he was only 7 years old and it was very sudden and tragic. He passed away inside our home while I was at work. It helps to see other dogs that look like him for some reason.

Anyway..onto your question. We are taking our first cruise in Sep 2004 and have another one scheduled for Sep 2005 with the kids. We are doing the 4 day because we heard the 3 day was just too short. I get motion sick but plan to be drugged with bonine...lol. There are a few of us going on the Sep 26th 4 night wonder...you should join us!

WE have taken 4 cruises in September. I absolutely love it. The weather is usually warm. I do prefer the end of Sept because the middle is the absolute peak of Hurricane season.

We've had beautiful weather in CC in September.

The rates are low, the weather is beautiful.....sail in September.
