Nice and simple.. I hope..

average temp? lots of rain? high humidity? ...I guess, just compare it to July/August weather...

THANKS!!

IMHO...........if you can avoid any hurricane....
BEST time of year to go!!
Some say the humidity is higher, but it doesn't bother us!
I think avg temps are mid to high 80s
And that last week of Sept - first week Oct.....it has cooled off somewhat so that it isn't unbearable but still hot enough to enjoy the pools, water parks and water rides at the parks!!
You may need at light jacket in the evening if you are one that gets chilly in 65 - 75 degrees.
And this time of year, we haven't set the clocks back yet, so you still have more daylight.

I think typically July/August have more of the "storms every afternoon" rains. Everytime we've gone the first week of Oct....we've never had the storms in the afternoon thing. We did however run into a hurricane one year.
And July/August is so unbearable with the heat!!!!

We were there 3 years ago at that time (last week in Sept - first week in October) and it was HOT AND HUMID. And, we got the tail end of the love bugs (ick!). BUT, it was a nice time because I did not want it to be cool, because we wanted to swim, also. And, since kids are back in school, it wasn't overly crowded like it was for our August trip in 2003.

We got lucky and only had one day that it rained - and it wasn't even all day.
