Just wondering how the weather is in early February? We will be at WDW Feb 4th through the 11th.

Thanks!

Be prepared for anything! The average highs are around 70 but there have been some pretty cold snaps at that time. Two years ago we wished we had brought our winter coats it was so chilly.

Weather in February can go either way. We've been the last week of the month several times (our school vacation week). Sometimes we've been in shorts and t-shirts and others we've been in jeans, sneakers, long sleeve shirts, fleece jackets and wearing hat and gloves. The best thing to do is to pack for either scenario and wear layers. We had days where we started out in pants and jackets, then went to shorts and t-shirts during the day and back into pants and jackets at night. I would bring a small bag with me to the parks with our shorts and t-shirts in it and get a locker - that way we didn't have to go back to the hotel to change.

We went in February 2005 but I can't remember how the weather was! :confused3 we are driving down from Delaware so we will have our winter coats just in case.

We went in 2009 for the last couple days of January and the first few days of February. Florida was having record cold temps at the time, lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s. When we had left, the forecast was for warm weather, so that's what we packed, but by the time we got down there via a 2-day road trip, the forecast had changed to be much colder and we all had only brought 1 sweatshirt and 1 pair of jeans each. I would suggest packing for an array of weather, despite what the forecast says the day you leave for your trip.

We pack for two seasons Warm and Cold. We take 2 jeans, 2 shorts, sweat shirts, tee shirts, and a jacket with a pair of strechy gloves. Because I have to pack for two seasons I always plan to do laundry while I am there to avoid over packing.
Having access to multiple washers in the laundry room only takes me an hour and 30 minutes of my vacation time to do laundry so I don't mind doing it. I couple it with relaxing in the hot tub so do laundry is not a bother to me.

We were in Orlando late Feb. last year and it was in the 80s during the day. We packed for warm weather or cool weather, but the jeans and such stayed in our suitcases! Next time, I'll pack half as much of each and do a load of laundry. I hated hauling that much stuff around, and our room had no drawers so we had to keep our clothes in our suitcases, meaning I had to search through a week's worth of jeans and sweaters to find my shorts and tees!
