Hello! I'm in the thinking stages of planning a trip for 4 adults to DisneyLand. We're Florida APs, and avoid going when the humidity rolls in. Before I do anything, I'd like to find a time of year where it is comfortable. My 21 yr old son is on the Spectrum, and sweats like crazy. He carries a small fan around his neck, cool rag and drinks lots of water. Let's be honest, I love Disney, but it's no fun when you are melting. We can handle 90 degrees as long as it is not humid. So obviously my question is, what time of year would work best for us? Thanks for your help !

If based on weather alone, late October, November, February-March, May-June (June gloom). Humidity isn't that common compared to other states. But it hits in random waves.

BUT it's absolutely unpredictable. One year in September in SoCal it was a nice 85° with cool breezes and then the following week 105°! Early October can be just as hot. But humidity, it's hard to say. I'm in the LA area so I can't really speak for Anaheim Year round. But I usually prefer the months listed above for DL

We really enjoy the time around May/June. It's May Gray/June Gloom so not as much sunshine as you would expect for California, but the weather is pretty fabulous. The Fall is wonderful, even Jan-March is nice. It's just a completely different feel than the humidity in Florida.

I've only dealt with humidity in Anaheim once over 11 trips but it seems as though no matter what time of the year we go it is hot! We've gone February, March, April, August and September. We're from BC so hot to us is anything over 24C and we start to melt when it hits over 30C. (75-88ish)

We are also people who drink a ton of water but can't stand the taste of Anaheim water so we always order a flat of water bottles for our hotel and just grab two each when we leave the room. We can get 24 bottles for the same cost as 2 in the parks.

I would avoid July through September and look at November through February for your best chance at cooler temps.

This is the 3rd summer in a row where it's been "unusually" humid. I'm beginning to think it's the new normal. It was above 50%, I believe, every day in July and has been 75% or higher for the last few weeks. Yes, I've been to Orlando, Chicago, and New Orleans in Summer and they were all worse both temperature and humidity wise. But as a local, a week of 77% humidity is still pretty miserable. It can still be pretty hot into October here, but if you combined weekend days and a Halloween party you could take advantage of later nighttime hours. November - late-January/mid-February is probably your best bet. But keep in mind temps can fluctuate 40 degrees within the same week and 30 degrees in the same day, so there really is no way anyone can come anywhere close to accurately predicting the weather.

I would avoid mid-August to mid-October, as we get the hottest/more humid days during this time. It's been pretty hot in July this year, more so than the past few years.

I have roasted in May-June before & it sounds like you need to be careful so I say no there... I'd suggest Nov-Feb as the safest bets to avoid heat months. (Holidays are beautiful if you can go outside Christmas to New Years week!)
