I am thinking of changing our oct 05 week at wdw and our 7 day cruise on the the 22nd to dec 06 so we can do two days at CC. My problem is, Is it warm enough to do Blizzard Beach in dec? My kids really want to go. I was thinking if we went on our first day there it would be warm enough for us as we are coming from 20-30 degree (or under with snow) weather. but I want to do the cristmas lights at wdw and the cruise. what do you think? Will the weather be warm enough? TIA

December weather can be all over the place. If you are used to the cold weather, you may find that you will get days that are definitely nice enough for you to enjoy a pool or water park.

You have a good chance of having warm weather, especially earlier in December.

Living locally, I can say that the pool at my community is pretty much not used from December to May.

We were there last year 12/12-17. I have to say that I was surprised with how cold it was. We had friends that were there the week before and it was cold for them also. I wore jeans at night and was quite happy to have my Mickey hat for heat during MVMCP!! There was very little action at the pool and a lot of people said there was no way they were going to the water park. But, it's also my understanding that last Dec was exceptionally cold there. All the CMs that I spoke to said it usually isn't nearly that cold. They were freeezin' their 'you know what's' off!!! Mittens, hats, coats, scarves...it was really kind of funny. It was maybe in the mid-70's daytime but it dropped to low 50's-high 40's at night.

Didn't read all the posts sorry, but I think december coming from the cold won't bother you.
I'm originally from Minnesota, and went to MVMCP last year, temps were in the 40's and I was wearing t-shirt and shorts for the party (my blood is still programmed for Minnesota not Florida).
PS, I tried to respond to your PM about MNSSHP but your box is full.
feel free to e-mail me if you want.

We've been to WDW a few times in early December and are going again this year Dec. 4-11. Every time we've gone at that time, there was at least one day warm enough to go to a water park - sometimes temps around 80. Evenings were cool, like jeans and a light jacket or a sweatshirt kind of cool. But I'm from Maine, so temps in the 50's don't seem especially cold to me, even though the CM's were bundled up as if they were in the Yukon.
