Weather for Mid-March trip ~ ADVICE PLEASE!!!

We are going on spring break, March 13 - 19, 2005.

I am curious as to what I can expect as far as the weather.


I want to buy some Disney clothes for my kids but I'm not sure if I should get long sleeves or short sleeves. What about the bottom half? Shorts, capris or pants??


Also, what about swimming? I know that the pools are heated but will we freeze when we are out of the pool?

Rain... does it rain daily at this time of year?

I'd say definitely short-sleeve shirts. If it does turn a bit cool, just wear a jacket. I'd take a mix of shorts, capris, & pants. Typical weather would be shorts, but I believe last year was a bit cooler than normal for this time of year, so it can happen.

I don't think you'd freeze during the day with swimming because it's usually pretty warm at that time. We went in 2003 during that time and it was over 90, but that was a bit warmer than usual.

Expect some rain, but probably not daily.

We were in WDW March 6-13, 2004. We expereinced the best weather as far as I am concerned (of course we are from Michigan - hahaha). It didnt not rain one single drop the entire time we were there. We packed a little of everything just to be sure. We did need a sweater/light jacket after sunset, but during the day shorts/t-shirts were comfortable. Mid day was the perfect time for the pool; early morning or late evening swims would of been cool once out of the water.

The daytime temps that week hovered in and around 80, if i remember correctly. The crowds were managable, enough to make things fun and there wasnt much of wait for rides/attractions either.

This was our first visit to Florida/WDW and I am trying to plan a return trip for March 2005...
