Considering going Oct. 29- November 5th. What are the crowds and weather like that week. I know Halloween will be crazy at MK. Also when does the park changed over to Christmas?

The weather will likely be anywhere between 70 and 85 during the day and 55 and 70 at night. In general, you should be able to count on upper 70's for the high and mid 60's for the low on most days, with a passing rain shower here and there. I've been there several times in early November and that is what we have seen. They will start changing over for Xmas right after the last MNSSHP. I'm thinking that at least the castle will be lit by your last day.

We were there for Thanksgiving years ago. The changes at the parks started right before Thanksgiving. We stayed at WL and the decorations there were put up right after Thanksgiving. We went to sleep with the regular lobby and awakened to a magnificent Christmas tree and decorations. I don't know if things have changed. I know they cut out some of the decorations in Epcot several years ago. Have wonderful vacation.

My first week of Nov '11 visit was warm with some afternoon showers.

First Very Merry Christmas party was 4 days after last Not So Scary Halloween party.

Very fast turnaround on Main St. decorations.

We chose Oct 29 - Nov 5 for our first family trip to WDW this year. I don't have any previous experience obviously, but did a ton of research and chose that week because weather is generally supposed to be good and not too horribly hot, but hopefully can still swim. It also avoids the wine and dine run event for the most part, jersey week, and Veterans Day - and only a few days of early closures due to MNSSHP at the beginning of the trip. Plus we get to see F&W and might get to see some Christmas decorations go up. :). And ROL should be up and running by then!

We've been three times during this period and have experienced variations. First year, it was in the 70s during the day. Second year, we had a cold snap and it was in the 60s and low 70s with one day in the 50s. Last year, it was in the high 80s. If we travel this time of year again, I would prepare myself for any kind of weather and go with the expectation that pool time may or may not happen.

3 Jersey weeks logged in.....All three we had pretty much perfect weather....around 80* for hi.....Back in 2010 we had 2 days that were chilly for that time of the season.like 60* or so....As soon as Halloween ends , the next day it magically disappears...We've always enjoyed having seen both decorations in our weeks there....Also we usually always get the 1st day of Osbornes Spectacle of Lights too ( which was always a nice bonus ) Sadly this will be no More.>

Been going during that time for many years and each year it gets more and more crowded. The weather has always been great, but last year it was unusually hot that week. I was shocked that out of my 10 days there, with the heat/humidity, it rained only one time and it was a Disney Springs night and it only lasted a little while. If it were a little cooler, it would have been perfect.

As much as I'm LQQKING forward to my upcoming Jersey Week, I'm not particularly looking forward to the busy crowds this year...
Either way, it'll be waaay too long between trips... 14-1/2 mos...:crazy2:

Last couple years weather has been rather warm around that time. We always go to Halloween Horror Nights close to Halloween and it's really nice when it's chilly out. Sadly hasn't been that way in some time. I'd anticipate temp's being in the 70's at night and the mid 80's during the day. But fingers crossed it very well could be chilly around that time instead of hot

November is my favorite time to go, weather is beautiful. Cool nights and mornings (sweatshirt weather), warms up in the afternoon. Perfect for park touring IMO. Crowds are low, Christmas is in the air. One of the best times to go!

This past year was HOT. First few days of November were 90 and so humid. It was an anomaly but it really goes to show you can't predict it.
