....with full and happy bellies, we finally said our good-byes to the CMs at LTT and ambled towards the Castle in hopes that we didn't miss the Lighting. The crowds had thinned down nicely, compared to before our meal, since the parade was long finished and most of the guests had headed towards the front of the Castle or had dispersed elsewhere to other parts of MK. We decided to stay in a spot directly to the side, which still offered a great view, albeit not front-and-center; mind you I'm in 'yucky-camera mode':

....what a crime to get such DISASTROUS photos of one of the most spectacular visions ANYWHERE to be had at WDW...the memory, fortunately, is permanently embedded in my cranium - all I need to do is close my eyes and I'm IMMEDIATELY brought back to THIS:

What I needed in these GREY and freezing days !!! We are getting every day snow and/or heavy rain since two weeks ago !!! AND
I'm anyway having my long trip to go to my school AND also looong trips to Mom's hospital ... well, she is doing fine ... this is so important to me !!!

Anyway ... no more blabla --- Kimmar , I LOVED your pics !!! They made my day !!

You make me recall of our vacations in Disneyland PARIS ; overthere , at Christmas time ONLY !! , we get a beautiful "enchanted" show in front of that castle and the marvellous castle-lighting !!!

So it is icy in Italy, too? Somehow I always think of Italy as being quite warm. (dumb American here. maybe someday I will get to visit and find out the truth, although I probably wouldn't visit when I know it would be icy )

Glad to hear that mom is doing well. Hospital stays are always so scary!

Loved the picture of Disneyland Paris. Again, someday maybe I'll actually get to visit, but that trip is also in the distant future.
