The cast is DH and myself.
We left the kids at home and had a wonderful anniversary trip.
Quiet meals and lots of food!

We ate at
Chef's de France
Kona Cafe
Tuttu Italia (TWICE!!!)
WGP cafe express in DTD
Columbia Harbor House
Sunshine Seasons
Main Street Bakery

We tried to take pics of everything but we missed a few...maybe it was the wine????
LOL

We arrived at the Boardwalk Friday Sept 19th at about 2pm. After checking in we headed to EPCOT for lunch.

First up Sunshine Seasons.

We split a vegetarian Cuban, strawberry shortcake, Corona Light and a Kiren.
The sandwich was very good. I would have liked no mustard but DH loved it. The strawberry shortcake was OK, not bad just not terrible memorable.

After walking around world showcase for the afternoon we had reservations at Chef's De France. We were 2 hours early but only had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. After being seated we ordered Escargots (YUMMY!!!) The pesto the had it in was so good. We used all of the rolls to soak it up. So very good!

After ordering our dinner we waited.....it was bit of a wait for our food, maybe 20 minuted. We figured that we weren't in a hurry so it was fine.
For dinner I had the seared Tuna and fries. The Tuna was really good. It was a good cut. I didn't care for the caper sauce but since they give it to you on the side it didn't really matter. Also the fries were very thin but cold by the time I got them.

DH ordered the Petit Filet. He says that it was cooked perfectly, although we had been advised that they tended to cook them a step less than what you want. With that advice he ordered more cooked than he wanted it. Therefore it came how he actually wanted it. The potato Gratin was fantastic and the green beans were very good. I don't eat red meat so this was the only part I tried!

Animal Kingdom Morning!

We got up early and rode EE! We had never been able to ride together so we were excited. Then we headed to Dinosaur and guess what WE WON DREAM FAST PASSES!!! This was a big deal as we have been to WDW and DL 7 times since the year of a million dreams and this is the ONLY time we won!

After having some more fun we went to Flame Tree BBQ for lunch. DH Loves this place so it is always a must for us.
DH had the St Louis ribs and key lime pie.
He says that the ribs were smoked perfectly (a little pink inside), he didn't care as much for the BBQ sauce. Personally I loved it!
The Key lime pie was warm and so we didn't eat it. YUK!

I had the BBQ chicken salad and a frozen lemonade. The Chicken salad was good at first but them I got kind of grossed out abouut the chicken. I got a fatty bite or something. I don't always have the best luck with cold chicken.
The lemonade was so yummy!

We had a wonderful meal at Chefs last December! DH also loved the escargot (not my thing  ) and DD14 still raves about the green beans there :thumbsup2

Love Flame Tree, but warm Key Lime Pie??? Yuck is right!

Thanks for reading!

We forgot the camera at Kona Cafe. It is our favorite restaurant for their amazing service. We have been about 10 times over the past 5 years. It did not disappoint this time either! We started with the new Sushi counter as we had to wait for our table. We found searts in the bar and ate our volcano roll and had Mai Ties (YUMMY). The sushi was about the best I ever had. We eat a lot of Sushi. I also want to mention that the manager of that part was so friendly. Just so helpful and sweet.

After 20 minutes we were seated.
For DinnerI had the Tuna and it was so yummy! They were very careful with my nut allergy, as Disney always is!
The Bread is sooooo good. They brought me plain whipped butter which was excelent. I had the Torte for dessert. It was great but I was so full I couldn't finish it!
DH had the pork chops and he said they were excellent. For dessert he had the fondue. I had a taste and will be getting this next time. Fruit and chocholate was much easier to eat after being so full.

I will post the 2 Tuttu Italia reviews later.
Heidi

Sorry it has been so long.
TUTTU ITALIA!!!
This is where we ate Sunday evening and Monsay for lunch. It was so amazing.
Interesting to note...
They will not substitute pasta for potatoes, I guess that was too much work?
Anyway the food is amazing. I had the chicken and DH had fish the first night. It was so yummy! There is a bone in the one part of the chicken, but once I took it out it was great.

DH had the fish I can't find the picture though! LOL

On Monday we were scheduled to have lunch at Tokyo ining but we couldn't help it we wanted Tuttu Italia again! So we called and got it at 2:30pm. It worked out perfectly because it was around then that it started to pour!

The second day I had the clams and pasta. It was perfect!

DH had te steak and he said it was very good.

Now you may have noticed that I did not mention dessert yet. Well that you see it because it could have been a meal itself. I had the berry dessert both days. It was amazing!!! Seriously the best thing I have EVER eaten.

The berry's are on the right and DH had some sorbet thing...really why would you not have the berries???

So thats it for now. We are returning for 10 nights in January and I can't wait!!! We booked Tuttu Italia twice...

I really enjoyed your reviews, but I have to say when I read the part about warm key lime pie I made this face, :crazy2: and then made it again when I read about the fatty cold chicken! That tends to happen to me a lot too!
I keep seeing good reviews about Tutto!

You should have seen my face eating it! LOL
