I LOVE House. I never think it sucks I just love it too much. I thought the mattress thing was funny. Did you know that girl was Tiffany from "White Chicks"? I can't help thinking of that movie and their corny lines whenever I see her on House.

I had an interesting night last night. After Buddy got off work, we picked up food for our friend that was working the closing shift at one of Jett's other gas stations last night. When we got there, she was in a panic because her mom had called and told her that her 7 month old wasn't breathing. So i drove her to the hospital to meet her baby and her hubby up there, and buddy covered her shift. Her boss actually told her that she could NOT leave no matter what. Everything is fine with the baby now. The doctor just said it was congestion, but everytime she would lay back on her back, she would turn red and fight to sit up cause she couldn't breath. Stupid ER doctors and Medicade. They ingnored whatever it was.

Oh yeah, he knew about the baby. He's the kind of person that, when his wife had their last baby, no one saw or heard from him for two weeks, but when someone else has a health/family emergency he doesn't really care.

Wow!! Her boss sounds like a royal you know what!! Glad to hear the baby is okay now. Hope it wasn't anything too serious. ER doctors usually only do what it takes to get the patient out of the room so they can get others in quickly unless that patient needs surgery. I hope your friend finds out what the real cause of the breathing problem was.

There was no one waiting behind them. That's what made us all so aggrivated. It took the pediatic ER doctor 3 hours to finally come see her after his assistant looked at her and made all kinds of bad sounding noises about what she was hearing. With babies on medicaid, they pretty much don't do anything unless is something serious enough like full blown pneumonia. Loni's (<- our friend) mom had already taken her to the pediatrician, and he said to get her to the hospital.

Yeah I know, but at least at the moment her baby's breathing fine. She's off work with her. We were worried about Loni stressing out last night because she's pregnant again, and we were all worried about her upsetting the new baby. But everything is ok there now.

Exactly. My mom broke her hand in 10 places, and we had to wait almost 6 hours for them to even come see why she was there.

It's Hump Day. Maybe some pixie dust will visit.
