Coming out of lurkerdom just to tell you how much I love your trip report! We'll be on the Fantasy next year with my 5 and almost 3 year old and reading about your experiences has been so helpful in my planning. Like you, we'll be at WDW for a few days before our cruise. I haven't decided on a resort yet but WL is one of the ones I'm considering. Thanks again!
Thank you for stepping out to tell me that. It is much appreciated!
Y'all are going to LOVE the cruise. Your kids will be amazed by the kids club. It is so awesome!
I'm definitely glad we did the parks before the cruise & not the other way around. WL is definitely nice. And I found that it didn't seem too noisy.
Let me know if you have any questions!
I just read your TR and it is awesome! I definitely see a cruise in our future! Oh yeah and Reid is just too adorable.
Thank you so much!

The cruise really & truly went above & beyond my expectations. And, of course, Ed's as well, since he had extremely low expectations. Thank you - Reid is a handful at times but the apple of my eye & I wouldn't trade him for all the Disney trips & cruises in the world!
I hate it when lifeguards won't let you stay at the bottom of the slide. It would go a lot faster than trying to have a 3 year old float away from the slide himself. The thing that really annoys me is that each lifeguard has different rules. After a shift change the next one might let you stay at the bottom.
Yeah, I was glad I didn't know that Ed was going to have to swim away & then go back to get Reid. I probably wouldn't have let Reid go. But, I'm glad Ed didn't listen to the lifeguard at the slide & completely clear out of the water. I would've really freaked out watching him! I don't understand why that lifeguard wouldn't let Ed wait for Reid. Ed is a grown man, he has enough common sense on how to wait for a child at the bottom of a slide. And it's not like Reid is going to come down the slide & knock Ed out. But, whatever, at least he got to go on the slide & was okay.
Castaway Cay looks so awesome. I want to book a cruise so bad. I am tempted to cancel our Oct. trip and book a short cruise for June but we'll see.
It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I know, I've been pricing different Disney packages & cruises for next year in March or June just to see what we could do since we may be deciding not to add to our family after all. Ed told me that if Disney would pay me for every trip I price, I would be one rich woman & could go on all sorts of
Disney vacations!
I love seeing all of your pictures. Cpt. Jack always looks so much like the real one. They really do a great job casting him.
Thanks! And not only did Captain Jack look like the real deal but he sounded just like him as well! I really thought it was so sweet how he asked Reid if the water was cold & just sat there listening patiently to Reid ramble on about it. He was great!
Castaway Cay looks like a lot of fun. It would be hard to want to get back on the boat! I enjoyed your pictures, as always.
Thank you! Just like the boat, there really is so much to do on Castaway Cay. I've already decided that the next time we do a
Disney cruise, I want it to be a 5 night Bahamian because those stop 2x at Castaway Cay!
Wow, I'm totally sold! Castway Cay looks awesome! I would love to try out those water slides, they look great!
I think Disney needs to give me a free cruise since I'm talking everyone here into taking a cruise!

There was so much to do at Castaway Cay, I really couldn't believe it. You can rent bikes, snorkel gear. There are bars for adults. They have a trail to jog. And then there are TONS of activities scheduled also. And they also have a splash zone for little kids somewhere near where we were, we just never had time to go see it.
Glad to see you are having so much fun, and how funny were Captain Hook and Mr. Smee- I loved the photo where Smee is in Hook's arms!
We had a great time on the island! That's one of my favorite photos of Hook & Smee! I have to say, they had some pretty good moves!
