DH and were a little worried there for a while! I thought that I might be pregnant. We plan to start trying AFTER our cruise. I had actually talked myself into being happy about having to cancel, and having to set up a nursery instead. But I'm glad that we are sticking to our original plan!

I'm not sure how to reply. I'm happy that you are still able to go on your cruise. But setting up a nursery would have been a happy thing too. I guess you can't go wrong! Good luck in both endeavors.

Don't get me wrong! I would have cancelled with JOY if the test had been positive!!! Right now though we are looking forward to a little more "us" time before we add to our family. We are thinking that our next cruise will be our last before kids (our second ever)! Who knows when we will be able to go again once kids come.

That's great to hear. We were married for 7 years before we had our first child. It was nice to have some time to ourselves before the real fun began. We had our two children in less than a year after struggling for 3 years with infertility. (look out for Irish twins!) But when they came along, we had a house and were stable financially and in our jobs. There is a lot to be said for waiting until you are a little older to have kids. But having them young would have been fun, too. Whatever you choose, I'm sure it will turn out beautifully.
