Well, it will be my 50th!!!! and I intend to be in an area where I cannot get cell reception because I'm the baby of the family and last time my siblings were more depressed about my getting old (my 40th) than I did and I don't want to hear it from them...

I went to Italy for my 50th. It was the best!!! I ate and drank the most amazing food you will ever find. Tuscany is a place you never want to leave.

My thought is you want to go while your still young enough to really enjoy it. And believe me at 50 you finally get it......

Great review of Citricos! You've really got me wanting to go this fall-

And I have to say...you need to get yourself past your fear of the warm goo inside the veal bone! It is fatty and luscious, it reminds me of another food that has been taken off all WDW menus- yes, it reminds me of Foie!! There is just something about marrow that has a similar fatty quality and richness, it's AMAZING!!!!!

I wish I were going to be there in October for your meet! You've got a great crowd going!!! Have a blast!

Thanks very much for reading - I'm glad you've enjoyed it. And I'd strongly encourage you to pay Citricos a visit if you have a chance - it was excellent!

And with that kind of recommendation for the warm goo ... I will definitely have to try it the next time I get a chance. Jay said your description was perfect ... I wish he'd said that in October when we were there, but maybe he didn't want to share all that badly.

Too bad you won't be able to meet up with everyone this October - I think it will be a hoot!
