We need to buy AP's our first night...

we are staying at the BWV so I thought we would walk over the the WS entrance to Epcot....can we buy them there? or should be boat over to to the entrance to the Studios or should we take the longggg trek to DD ???

we won't get to the resort till about 8:30ish. so time is short.
is the ticket booth at downtown disney open till 11?

ps...we can always buy them in the am but that takes away from early park time

If you are coming in at an hour that it's open, you can get your *activated* AP's at the Airport Disney Store. You still also qualify for pre-purchase discounts there.... (at least we did last year)

Go to the Disney site and purchase them on line. You'll get your voucher to trade in for the actual ticket when you get there.

There is no prepurchase discount for annual passes, they are set at one price, but, you do get your DC discount for annuals regardless of where you buy them.

But that doesn't help them since they still need to exchange the vouchers at the same places where they would buy a new one.

Where the OP can go depends on when they are going and what the park hours are. If you can get to Epcot's IG before 9, you can do it there. If MGM is open until 10, you can boat down there and get your AP. If MK is open late, you can bus over there to get your AP.

If none of the parks are open late during your trip, the Guest Relations offices at DTD are open until 11 during the week and to 11:30 on Friday and Saturday.

I would buy them at the international gateway entrance to Epcot. In my experience it has always been the least busy of any entrance to any park, so you should be able to get the AP's quickly and conveniently, particularly since you will be staying at BWV.

When you buy AP's at the Airport Disney Store, you get Activated Annual Passes, not vouchers. They are ready to use immediately.

Can you update passes at the airport disney store? We have hopper passes and would like to upgrade them to premium annual passes. Can we do this at the airport or would we have to go to a park.

We already have the "voucher" for the annual pass that we bought here for our trip beginning Sept. 20. Can we activate them at the Disney Store in the airport?

The answer to both questions is no. The airport shops only sell new tickets. They are not a Guest Relations office that handles ticket upgrading or voucher exchanging.

minniespal would need to go to any Guest Relations window at a major theme park or to either of the two Guest Relations offices at DTD to do the upgrade.

Kathy C can do her voucher exchange at the same Guest Relations places listed above or she can do it at any ticket booth at one of the major parks.
