We just returned from the WL and we can never go back...

We fell in LOVE. This was going to be the last trip for a while but before we left, DH, who is not the big WDW lover in our family was saying that we HAVE to stay here next year!!! We had a courtyard view, near the lobby and it was perfect. Maid service was great, a new animal each day. The resturants were good and the transportation that we had heard bad reviews on was just great. Only once did we have any trouble and most times we had very little waits. It's our new favorite!!!

I can't agree with you more Jordan's Mom. We just returned Friday from a week stay. That place is AWESOME!!! We had a courtyard view of the main pool. We could see the lake and the waterfall. I felt like I wasn't in the middle of Florida staying there. This time of year made me feel so cozy there. I loved it when the security guard said welcome home every night. All in my party thought it was by far the best Disney resort. I can't wait to get back down there. The Christmas decorations were GREAT!!

Missing the lodge already

We felt the exact same way after our first time there! We absolutely fell in love with it. My husband (not the Disney fan that I am) can always be talked into a trip if I tell him we can stay at the lodge! We've stayed at almost all the other on property resorts, but we always come home to the lodge.

We were there, too! We were upgraded to courtyard view upon arrival. We were one of those moved from POFQ and were moved to WL woods view. We ended up with courtyard for $110/night! We had a first floor room which was just around the corner from Roaring Forks and out the door to the walk way to the boat dock to the Magic Kingdom. We never encountered any transportation problems, as well. As a matter of fact, DH commented several times about the crowds but we never waited for anything all week. We never used the first fast pass. We also took the sleigh ride! Fun! DH & I gave the WL an "A"!

After four nights at the WL we moved to the AKL! DH's fav! I knew it would be! He loved sitting out on the balcony looking at the animals! He already wants me to make ressie for next year! DH gave it an "A plus"!

DW and I just returned form our 16th. stay at WL. Our stay was Dec. 6-13 and we had room 5009 which was a courtyard room. Enjoyable our stay as usual. We have gone to WDW during early Dec. each year since 1992 and I thought this was the most crowded I have seen it. Still very manageable though. This new promotion seems to be working, I have never seen so many children at WDW at this time of year.

We LOVED this resort too!! We want to return again this February, but with the non existant discounts so far, there is no way we can swing that. We are currently booked over at Pop Century and while still excited to stay there, I long to be back at the WL. Everytime I look at our pictures or see pictures, I miss it terribly. We may just have to suck it up and pay for it next year!!!
