We Just got Married

We just got married on Sunday! Now we're looking forward to our Disneymoon. We're having one week in Aruba, followed by one week at WDW's Saratoga Springs Resort. Leave Thursday - can't wait.

Wedding was a beautiful intimate ceremony with only 28 guests total, at Armathwaite Hall Hotel in the English Lake District. The ceremony was beautiful, and the room it was held in overlooked a lake.

Whole day was absolutely fantastic - it's so bad having to go back to work for 2 days before the honeymoon tho - don't do it.

We had 2 bridesmaids, a best man, and another witness, and just close family on both sides - parents, grandparents and brothers and sisters. We didn't have evening entertainment, as the wedding was late, so we had a lovely six course meal instead. We took board games for the kids, so they wouldn't get bored during the photos.

Will post some pics when I get them back. Can't wait for the honeymoon - only 1.5 days to go!

PS: the sunscreen/water/booze thing: I went to Hawaii and even though I was already tan the tropical sun is waaaaay more intense, and then I drank, and didn't hydrate...and then spent an entire day in the hotel room feeling like caca. My then BF (now DF) was not too happy with me....I was like, "aaahhhgg... don't touch me....the sunburn...."

Thanks everyone. We're staying at the Marriott Aruba Surf Club - got it thru DVC trade.

I'm worried about the sunburn risk because of the tradewinds, so we're going to pack a higher factor suncream than in Europe. Would factor 35 be strong enough?

Hey Cinderella--yes, that is a high enough SPF. The main thing is to make sure you apply it often enough. Also, don't forget the lip protection. I got chapped lips like you wouldn't believe, and the winds definitely won't help. I would also wear a hat.

I'm sorry if I sound like a bossy know-it-all butt. I just wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same experience I did, when a little common sense could save the day--and maybe the honeymoon.
