Congrats! Have one myself and the advice I would give you is to get a few trips under your belt so it is smooth sailing when you get there. We stayed there years ago and had such a great time at the campground. Enjoy!!

We are planning our first trip over Memorial Day we can't wait we are beyond excited!!! We have a little restoration to do but nothing to major!!

:jumping1: Happy for you! I can well remember our first camping experience, and we're still going strong many years later! :thumbsup2

Congrats! Like Ed was asking, what ya get?

Sorry was busy playing yesterday, and apparently even though its Spring we are supposed to get snow tomorrow!! Its actually funny how we ended up getting it. We had been searching since Jan and decided that we were done looking because we didn't want to buy a pop up that needed a new canvas and we really couldn't afford to buy one or finance it. (we are still living with my parents but mostly because we were asked to help out with my ailing grandfather and finances). My father has been in the RV business his entire life, well he actually retired a while back but still gives advice. We got a phone call Thursday from a close friend that still works at the dealership they said 2500.00 tags title and everything and we could walk out the door with it. Its a 1997 aero lite. Its not brand new and its shows some wear and tear, but we are soooooooo excited. They actually knocked the price down to 1800.00 for us. so we are working on it here and there I will post pictures tomorrow of the inside of our before and after pictures. Its something that helps me take the stress off of whats going on with my everyday life here. Hopefully I will get to see some of you in August!! :dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

We have been doing the same thing about pop ups, and have come to basically the same conclusions..we would rather wait....unless something falls into our lap, too. Things better than we can imagine do happen after we stop looking.
But with your dad and the dealership friend, you sound very prepared and deserving of your so called, luck!!

How fun to work and plan with the trip to look forward to as your reward. Please post before and after pics. Helps others of us vicariously "take the stress off" our day, too!

Thats how its been with us every pop up we find that is either slightly new or brand new is anywhere from 4,000.00-18,000.00 and for that you could have a travel trailer. And new canvas is anywhere from 750-1000.00 . Although its seems are luck ran out because literary as it was being dropped off in our driveway the mail man came in and we were served with papers for unpaid hospital bills which we had no idea about!:sad: so i had like five minutes of being happy lol!!!

It took on a little water damage but we are going to pull it up and see how bad. We are going to do some upgrades this weekend so I will post some new pictures later!

Are you uploading the images to a hosted site like Photobucket or Flickr? Thats what you have to do to get pictured to load on the DIS. Then you paste the IMG link (at least thats how it works for me with Photobucket).

I am currently using the DIS android app to read the board and cant see the image properties. Maybe you are on a hosted site. I cant tell. I thought I couldnt see them due to android or something else.

So are you using a hosted site?

I think because my husband downloaded them from the RV website on his phone they are locked so Im actually charging my phone now so I can go out and take some pictures to post lol...
