Sorry about your mom pestering you. You know its just cuz she loves you guys. But when people interfere in that area it really is annoying.
So glad you had a smooth trip. When we fly up to see the in-laws we fly into Providence for the same reason. We hate Logan. My in-laws won't even come and get us and it is closer to them than Providence. They hate driving in the city and I don't blame them and lugging our stuff on the commuter rail is not fun. No Logan magical express!
That is awesome that you could see the welcome sign from your room. I've honestly never looked to see that pop is right there. Did you prefer 80s to 50s other than the room update? Hope you guys had fun at evening EMH.

I've only flown in and out of Manchester once but loved it. You poor thing, after that weekend with a parent (or in-law) I'd be REALLY ready for vacation! How cool you could see the entrance sign!

I will always fly out of Manchester first if possible. We are lucky enough to live basically halfway between there and Boston so either one is convenient.

My mom was big on pestering for grandkids. It started when I was about 25 and still single. My canned response was... I can get you a grandchild any time. I thought you wanted me to have a husband first!

I put in a request for the 80s. I hope we get that sign too. How fun!!

AWESOME start! It looks like it was packed when you got there. I'm so glad your trip to the airport, your flight, and your ME trip were relatively uneventful and that you arrived safely! Can't wait to hear more!!

It was a bit packed, but it was about 5:45PM. So I think there were a lot of people streaming out of the park at that time.

YAY! you finally made it to WDW! i've never flown out of manchester, but my boyfriend, who works for TSA at logan, told me that manchester is much smaller than logan, so i would imagine that its much easier to get through security im always a nervous wreck when it comes to my luggage too!! last year was my first time on ME and we had the luggage tags, and i didnt realize that they get the bags for you, so here i am waiting for my luggage having a mini panic attack and then i finally asked someone about it and thats when they told me i dont have to pick up my luggage...oh man, was i relieved (well i was more relieved when i actually saw my bags in the room )

It is a breeze going through security at Manchester, I think the longest I've waited is 10 minutes in line which is NOTHING in the grand scheme of things.

Too funny about your luggage/ME experience.

I can't wait for my stay at Pop in just 2 more days! Glad you had an uneventful trip to the airport. I don't mind sitting around airports either...at least I won't miss my flight!

I have never flown out of Providence but I have heard good things about that airport too. I just always go with manchester since I know how to get there. I'm a creature of habit. We flew out of Logan in '08 and it was not fun plus parking is more expensive.

Hmm...I would say that for being closer to the main building I would prefer 50's. It was a walk to get to the building from 80's but it wasn't awful. Manageable but 50's is closer, I think when we stayed in 50's it was a preferred room.
