A newly renovated hotel AND an annual passholder event? Let's go!
Trip 3: March 16 - 24
Disneyland Paris
Vacation Day 16: March 18
Today was Monday and that’s the day our favourite bakery is closed so we had to drive a little further to another bakery which has some great baguette as well.
Bread and sweet treats in hand we made our way back to the hotel and marched the long, long way back to our room. We had had a late start, so breakfast only started at around 10 am and we took our sweet time enjoying all the good food.
Shortly before midday we were ready to leave and make our way towards the parks. We got into our car and started driving and something else started as well, rain!
So since we had to pick up some things anyway we made a detour to Val D’Europe and hit a few of the stores there to buy some gifts for the 3 little girls in our house and some gifts for my aunt and my cousin’s kids as well.
Time goes fast, especially when you are spending money and finally it was time to drop off our shopping at the hotel, have a quick bathroom break, some Diet Coke and then we finally went to the parking garage. Luckily it had stopped raining.
Car parked we quickly moved through security and towards the Walt Disney Studios.

We had a reservation at Pym Kitchen

and we were a little early, so we took our sweet time to check out the shops on the way in, then the ones at the Spiderman ride

and since the ride itself had only a 15 minute wait, we got in line. We should have known better, not the first time, but the line didn’t move as fast as we would have liked and it took closer to half an hour to get to the ride itself.

By then our reservation time had started but the restaurant is right opposite the ride, so we quickly walked over and in and joined the line. They didn’t mind us being late and we were immediately led to a table.
This is a buffet which includes a soft drink, so we both ordered Diet Coke and headed for the appetizer buffet.

When we returned to the table our drinks were on the table and the warm pretzel,

that is part of the meal had been delivered as well.

We enjoyed our starters and went back to fill our plates with main courses. They have really fun food, like a giant burger of which they cut triangles to serve and tiny slider like burgers. They usually have a huge hot dog as well, which they cut into pieces and some other fun foods.

Everything was really good and we were getting full, but you can’t leave without dessert, can you.

So we went and filled another plate with sweet treats.

They were quite nice, but they weren’t really anything to write home about.
Once we had finished we asked for the bill, paid and left. We took a short walk through the park

but wait times were still long, we were full and tired and just decided to head back to the hotel where we watched a little TV before calling it a day.
To be continued ...
