We haven't been since Nov 09......help me plan 'cause I need a FIX!

OK.

We are planning a trip in June to Orlando. Not for Disney. *GASP* I know!
BUT its for a music convention we both really wanna attend. Also my BFF & her family live in Tampa so we are going to see them and stay with them as well.

The convention is June 17 and 18. I know we'll stay a few extra days.

I want to go to see The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for sure and want to do SOMETHING on Disney property, but what?

Thats where you guys come in.....

My birthday is the week after so I plan to celebrate that somewhere, more than likely dinner, somewhere fairly affordable. Where?

Also any suggestions and help for the Universal side of things wild be greatly appreciated!

My DH is KC. Self proclaimed geek & nerd. Gamer. He likes him some Disney, but he likes that we haven't thrown a ton of$$ at the mouse in the past year.

Here we are:

We went to WDW on our honeymoon and have been hooked ever since. We went A LOT over the first few years we've been married. I love it as much as I ever did but we also wanna travel other places so we haven't been to WDW recently.

There will also be appearances by my BFF & her family. They are Disney fans, well my BFF & her daughter are, and her DH tolerates it on occasion for them. He's the unsmiluing guy in the pic. LOL.

Ok thats us...let's get to plannin!

If KC isn't down for spending lots of money but you want a Disney fix why don't you have dinner at the Poly and watch Wishes from the beach? You get your Disney fix with the advantage of not spending lots of cash.

That is what I am thinking of doing actually! I have yet to really mention it to KC he doesnt wanna plan much but I have the savings plan in effect already so as far as I am concerned we will be there!

Have you also considered dinner at Beaches & Cream? You could walk around the BC/YC and stroll down the Boardwalk after dinner with a stop in the BW Bakery for some treats to go.

Water park for the morning Downtown Disney afternoon lunch and shopping then to Boardwalk for dinner somewhere, then somehow find somewhere to view Illuminations?

Or after shopping I like the idea to of Poly for dinner and watching Wishes on the beach?

Beaches & Cream might be a good idea too! I ahve eaten there but KC never has. Maybe we could walk over to the International Gateway and sneek some peeks at Illuminations.
