I would go with whichever is cheaper. Keep in mind that the AP upgrade will automatically include hopping, where you have to add hopping to a two day ticket.

You should be able to see online what the difference is. If you go to the Disney World website, click Parks and Tickets, then click Annual Passes and scroll to the bottom, there are buttons for renewing and for upgrading.

Are they once again allowing people to upgrade their passes? I believe for a time there were not although that was when they weren't selling any new AP's. You had to stick with what you purchased at your renewal time.

Doesn’t sound worth it. The Incredipass is $430 more than Sorcerer. Plus then you have the hassle of downgrading next year if you don’t want to keep the Incredipass.

We decided against it. We have theme park studio at BLT, and don’t want the hassle of getting back to the resort.
When we traditionally went to EPCOT, we moved to an Epcot resort for NYE. I had forgotten that bit. Next year, if I can get BWV for NYE, we’ll change the passes.
