We Had a Great Time at 1900 Park Fare (Video Included)

We are going there one night and I was worried about taking 2 boys there. Looks like they made a bigger fuss over your son than your daughter though, so I am sure my boys will get a kick our it!

Thanks for posting this!

In April I took my daughter and her friend on a cruise. After the cruise a friend of mine picked us up in Miami at the ship and we surprised the girls with a trip to the Magic Kingdom. As soon as we entered the park my friend, a 50 year old single guy, went to reservations to see if he could get us anything more interesting than the plans he already made. When he returned and told me he had made plans for dinner with Cinderella, I was very unhappy. My daughter and her friend are 17 and 16. He was excited but I was so nervous the girls wouldn't be able to hide the fact that they were not interested.

We went to the dinner without telling the girls what was up. When we entered the restaurant one of the step sisters was making a scene, being very loud. Lady Tremaine was very snotty to our girls - in a fun way. We had a blast. I think the food was fine but I really have no idea. For me I'm sure it was a matter of expecting the worst. But the girls had no idea and they had a great time.

I am so excited because we "accidently" ended up in 1900 Park Fare for our trip the first week in December. On our MK night I wanted CP, because myself and one of my traveling companions love, love, love Winnie the Pooh.

However, by the time I made ressies, they were booked for dinner, but it suggested 1900 Park Fare. I was overjoyed because I had always wanted to eat at GF, but I go alone a lot and never seemed to make the effort to get over there. We got a ressie in time to do the festivities and duck out to watch the fireworks.!

It is her first time and I'm so afraid I'm going to just start crying right there when she realizes where she is !! I can hardly wait. What an excellent idea putting that book together! that's such a nice memory book for your kids that means so much more than just the plain autograph book!!

Yes, they love to show off their books.

Well, what do you expect when you bring a mini-Prince Charming to two prince hungry girls? Haha!! Boys at other tables seemed bored, so I'd maybe make them PC tees (DISign boards) or something so they have a conversation starter.

My mom loved them and said this was probably her favorite meal ever at WDW. They're such a change from the quiet, sweet princesses.

I'd heard all the hype, and I thought, really, how good could it be??? Well...let me put it this way, I ended up having to get four bowls before I could actually eat one because I would get distracted with the kids and characters and someone would take it from me, eat it ALL and say "Oh, I thought you were done." Gotta love family. Haha!! I did finally get a whole bowl to myself. YUM! :lovestruc

we went to 1900 pf dinner in sept and loved it. yes, the characters were great, but the food was fantastic. My DH and I agreed it is the only meal on our free dining plan we would pay for OOP.

I never tried the Strawberry soup. Looked nasty, to me.

If you like strawberries, you should try it. If you think about it, lots of stuff looks gross but tastes delicious!

I barely got to eat, but what I had was pretty tasty. They had a great salad. I know, I know, you can get it anywhere, but buffets can really cheap out on salad. This one was really good, tasted fresh.
