We Got Wilderness for 6/27-7/5.

Just thought I would share that we are going home for the second time. We will be staying in the Wilderness Lodge. We have never stayed there before so any opinions are things we should be aware of are apreciated. We will be in a one bedroom villa. Thanks and if anyone will be there are the same time we will see you then.

Aw Nutz! You're arriving the day that we're leaving.

DH and I stayed in a 1 bedroom last year, and it was fantastic. We were on the third floor, overlooking the pool. From our balcony, we could "peek" between the trees and see some of the Electric Water Pageant. (It's very woodsy. If you really want to see the EWP, head to the beach for the best view.)

When you check in, you can ask to be the "Flag Family" during your stay. For this, you'll be taken to the roof of the WL to participate in the daily raising of the flags. (It's based on availability.)

Hopefully, the family boat plan will still be in effect. For a $200.00 fee, up to 5 members in your party can enjoy unlimited use of the watercraft.

There are also complimentary tours that you can take.

In the VWL, there's a health club, and the Iron Spike Room.

Adding on at the VWL was one of the best decisions that we've made!

SJUGuy...you've been given a great quick briefing by DVCReg so I'll just add that you will have a great time at VWL. I don't know if you have little ones, but they also have a hidden Mickey challenge that you can get at the front desk.

If you're looking forward to a bit of a quiet haven after a hectic day in the parks, you will surely enjoy VWL.

Now the hard part....counting down for 7 months!!
