We got late seating!!

I picked up all of our documents yesterday and I was happy to find we did get our late seeting request. After all I have read on these boards, the late seemed to be the right choice for us. We ended up in cabin 6538 which seems like a keeper to me. Can't wait, one week today and we are off to Florida!! I think it just hit me, I am soooo excited this am. My dd1 had was ill earlier this week and we were worried it would hit the rest of the family but so far so good, everyone is fine. Only 1 week to go!!!

Congratulations on your late seating! It seems that the vast majority of individuals usually request, or want, early seating but in four cruises I've found that the late seating is the way to go. You won't have to rush to get back from your excursions (unless you want to see the shows) and you'll be done in time to enjoy all of the evening activities.

Let us all know how the cruise went when you return and have a great time!

Hey, TorontoDisney - I'm doing the "happy doc-dance for you!

Congrats on getting your preferred seating request for dinner. We're the opposite - confirmed on late and waitlisted for early seating. (Not because of 7-yr old DD; because of 81 yr old Aunt and Uncle - they "can't imagine anyone having dinner so late!" LOL) Our docs indicate we're still on late seating, so I guess I'll have to appeal for them once we're onboard.

Have a great time - don't forget to tell all about your cruise! We're on the same route 2 weeks later!

With the "bug" in your family, be sure to wash your hands very well and very often. Continue while on the ship. This will help. I'm with envy. I still have 9 months to go.
