I had the first week booked, no problem. But if I tried to extend past Sept. 22nd, it wouldn't take. You couldn't even get a cabin only on the 22nd! Drove me nuts. Finally, today, after trying daily (and them some!) since the 12th, the CM finally got everything to go through!! When I couldn't get the cabin for the 2nd week, initially we were going to take the camper down, leave it in overflow parking, then move to a campsite for the 2nd week. Even though other resorts would of been available for us, there is nothing like Fort Wilderness and no one wanted to go anywhere else.

Already got them!! I still have 2 open sit down meals. One I want to use at Whispering Canyon, but I want to make sure there is a specific waiter on duty. His name is Cousin Al and he is a hoot! I don't care if I have to settle on an early breakfast. He is well worth the early rise!

I have chosen so far, aside from Trail's End, 50's Prime Time, The Coral Reef, Hollywood & Vine, Liberty Tree Tavern, Ohana's (breakfast), Tony's Grand Gathering Experience for breakfast, Sci Fi, The Garden Grill,The Hoop Dee Doo......Have to decide on a really good one for our last day!!

Hi,

I'm new to the disboards, my brother in law sent me the site, and i booked our trip for the NSSHP for the end of october. I've been reading some of the messages, and this hay ride at fort wilderness keeps poping up. is that something that i have to book, or do we stand in line for? We;re going the weekend b/f halloween, and have all of our dining with the characters booked, along with cirque de soile. is there anything else i'm missing?

Yay!!! I love when a trip comes together like that. Two weeks at the Fort in a cabin, I do believe I'm a little green! It's a good green !
