Grocery Delivery

I have used Shipt shopping with Target (Target owns Shipt)
Most of our shoppers have communicated well by Text Messages. In the special instructions, you can ask for your order to be delivered to Bell services, request your last name and your arrival date to be placed on your bags.
Note that some targets are small so you want to shop at a larger/extended selectionTarget.I use Target at 3200 Rolling Oaks Blvd.
(Majority of the time the app wants to pick flamingo crossings because I believe it’s closer to Disney, but the selection is smaller.)
If you have Target 360 delivery should be free.
I usually place my order the night before to be delivered the morning of our arrival day.
I am a novice when it comes to using the Instacart app. I am in the app now and it doesn't give me a choice or place to change Target addresses. I can't even tell which Target the app is choosing from. I will need a delivery to BLT Thursday. I tried clicking on the Target name, searching in the app. No dice.

If wanting target it’s probably better to use target directly.

@nyy
@VGCgroupie is correct. If you wish to buy your groceries from Target, use the Target app or Target website.
A Shipt Shopper, will do the shopping and deliver your groceries but use Target‘s website or app to place the order.
In the app or website, you can make BLT your (temporary) default delivery address and select a target store in the Orlando area as your (temporary) default store. Once you’re home from your vacation, return your defaults to your local address and Store.
As I mentioned before the app/website prefers Flamingo Crossing and unless you change it, it will default to that store. The one I have found to have an expanded selection is Orlando SW Target 3200 Rolling Oaks Blvd. This is my default store when I am at Walt Disney World.
if you are a 360 target member there is no charge for delivery, otherwise there will be a delivery fee. As long as you shop through the Target website or app, there is no markup on groceries/products.

Here is a screenshot of the Orlando Targets you can select from also, you can see an example of my different delivery addresses when I’m at WDW.
Once you’ve done this, if you are happy with the service, you can save the info in your account and it will be there for your next trip.

Thank you so much for all of the info!
I never use Instacart at home - they won't deliver to my house. (Too rural.)
I only use Target to order Christmas gifts!
All of your help is greatly appreciated!

No not NASA like what just happened on the 1st. Rockets is the correct word, basically a launch for my son to see since we missed the Artemis launch by 10 days.

Anyway we decided the ones that are going to be when we are there are not as the most convenient times this trip. Maybe in the future.
Several years ago, we watched a launch from Disney Springs.
In February, we watched a launch from a house in Davenport FL (which is further away).

Sure, it’s not like being right there, still it was cool to see.

We just got back from Disney World yesterday and used Vacation Grocery Delivery for bottled water and light groceries. They shop at Publix so you can even order deli platters and cakes through them. They shopped the day before we traveled and texted me with questions and sent me proof of delivery info. I will definitely use them again.

We've used Walmart once, Amazon several times, no serious issues but always some uncertainty about delivering it to the resorts (security letting them in was an issue once, finding the driver once because I wanted to meet them but instead they gave it all to bell services). Decided to try Vacation Grocery Delivery on our last trip. It came highly recommended, and because it's run by former cast members they know the locations and it arrives before your arrival time and they coordinate everything with bell services seamlessly. Their delivery fee is (probably) higher but I used them because they were transparent about it (vs odd mark-ups from the others) and I liked the idea of supporting a local small business. And my reduced stress about the delivery was worthwhile in the end. I'll be using them again.
We started using VGD when they first started. I use them twice a year and never had an issue. They text when they are ready to shop to make sure I'm available for any questions they have. Sometimes they text about substitutions and always so friendly.

That’s why I finally gave up on Garden Grocer.
Me too! I use to use them all the time! Then when VGD started, I tried them and using for our trip in 3 weeks.

Last I was at Disney was October and just wanted to come on and see if any updates with VGD and only still positive. I've used them since inception and will use again in 3 weeks.
