We got a new couch!!!!!!!!

Remember a while back when I was saying how we needed a new couch, after getting rid of our old one? For a while we just dealt with having a comfy recliner and some other chairs.

We did not want to get a nice new couch with Monty Dog still chewing on things So we were waiting for either a super cheap couch or a secondhand couch that was in good shape.

Well, today our neighbor decided they were going use his girlfriends couch (she lives with him and today they were moving all her furniture in) and he was going to get rid of his nice, nearly new oversized sofa.

Well to make a long story short, the couch is now ours. It took a long time getting it set up, since we live on the third floor of a 3 story multi family home. The stairways are narrow as it's an old house. The couch had to be hoisted up to the back balcony and taken in that way!

But everything is set up now. We actually took out nice end tables out of storage and some of our other furniture. We moved some things around and our apartment looks so much better now. We're really happy! I'm still debating whether or not I should get a slipcover...at first I really wanted a solid color, but the upholstery is really nice and I'm thinking instead I might get curtains and stuff to match the light purple in the pattern. Still deciding though.

It's been a busy, but very good day.

Congrats on da find,, looks great,, its always great rearrangeing,, almost like anew room we rebuilt my desk and rea rranged the living room when we got the pc back and its still like a whole new room to play with,,(other than the light spots in the paint where we had to move pictures around,,,lol)

I don't recommend you waste your money on a slipcover. They NEVER fit correctly, even though all the ads say they do. It'll just look sloppy. It looks like a pretty neutral color, you should be able to work around it.
