We got a Free Disney day for our bad experience

There seems to be different experiences from different nights. I think I am seeing a trend that Friday nights tend to be worse than other nights, which makes sense. I would be ready to make Friday night a show night, since the Grads in my experience tend to not be in the show areas as much. Maybe do the Fantasmic dessert experience or World of Color. The grads get their own WOC, so they will be much less likely to be in that area. They also are not going to shell out for the dessert for F!

Friday night was the worst night, Thursday night when I was there was annoying, but we only left about an hour or so early. The grads were in both parks.

On Grad Nights, I would be at the parks early and get a lot of touring done before the grads start to come into the parks. Then in the evening, have a nice dinner and watch a show and maybe be prepared to make it an early night. Try to avoid E-ticket rides where the grads congregate. Hopefully, someone from this past week will give some information on how the Grad Nights were for them. Maybe things have gotten better!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I could swear that the grad night dates for this year had been published by June of last year. I keep checking, but I still don't see anything for 2014. I'm hopeful that is because they're making changes.

Just got a call from Disney replying to an email I sent them about grad nights - she said they have been overwhelmed with complaints about grad nights and that all of them go to the grad night department and they are going to review all of the complaints and decide if changes need to be made - she certainly implied that changes may very well be coming for next year as the "park hoppers" have totally changed the dynamic of the grad night and are impacting regular park guests and they do not want that to happen.

Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. I really hope Disney will make the changes so families can enjoy their time in the parks!

Lets hope so!! I work at a school and I know the schools are making their calendars for the next school year now!! Hopefully DL will change grad nights back to after hours just for grads or just do away with them all together since a lot of them don't know how to behave!
