We are heading to the parks in less than a week....can we still get fast passes the day we go to each park?...we like to plan, but not that much....

Yes you can. But the options for headliner attractions are likely to be very limited, especially given that it's President's Day week.

we are always there for the week after....we'll manage..It will be rope drop days to get to do a few musts....

Get what you can now, and look for changes as they dates of your FP+'s get closer. Remember too, that changing the attraction/times isn't difficult except for the super headliners. Just because you have a FP+ doesn't mean you're locked in.

Last year, we were relegated to "day of FPs" and chose BTMRR, HM, and ETWB at 9:00 a.m. in MK on Presidents' Day. Later in the week, we were able to select RnRC, ToT and Star Tours within a few minutes of park opening at DHS.

As long as you aren't too picky, you can still have some good choices - not the top choices but still ones that are choice to some.

Get them now, you don't want to waste valuable rope drop time trying to get FPs.

That much?
Think of 3 things you want to do and pick them. Thats it.
No planning really.

Great attitude!!!- If you're willing to do rope drop, you can get headliners in without FP+ and using standby is not the worst thing that could ever happen to you. Still, I'd go ahead and pick 3 if it were me, but you tour the way you like. Only the headliners are in short supply on same day, plenty open in the MK in the mornings on the secondary rides for sure.

Have a great time!

Think of it this way, you are planning now to save a lot of time later on.

Epcot is my favorite park by far and it was very difficult by the 3rd day once I picked my 1st tier choice. I can't believe they moved the Land to 1st tier. That was an easy choice over Captain EO.

You could try booking the night before. We do that sometimes. Most headliners have been available for us on various days. Times just may be later in the evening.
