We did it! Bought in and made first ressies.

We talked to our guide back in November when we were down in the world. Finally decided to buy in December. Finally decided our first trip will be in June at the Grand Californian at Disneyland and our first trip home will be 7 days in December at the BCV.

My only negative thoughts are that this is going to cost us a lot! We're different than most of you out here. We normally drive our motorhome down and camp. We still plan to do this, since we didn't buy enough points to stay for our normal two weeks. But we will probably pack up and move to the BCV for the last few days of each trip. It will end up costing us more, but I think over the years, we'll enjoy it.

But at least we're in!

Welcome home from a BCV neighbor! Just a suggestion, but why not sell the motorhome, and buy more points! LOL I might even make you an offer. My wife and I camp also but in less style - a Coleman pop-up (tent trailer).

Welllllllll, I don't think so. We still will be doing a lot of camping over the next few years. But it is funny. We bought the motorhome after camping in tents and a trailer for quite a few year, mostly for the Disney trip each year. Now, I guess we'll still take it down and camp, but we'll have a few nice nights at the end of each trip.
