I've been dreaming of a long Disney trip! I guess I'll just live through your experience for now! I haven't seen the interactive features at the HM, so thanks for sharing the pics!

It's interesting to hear your thoughts on FP enforcement. We have always been FP hold 'em/use 'em later people. I've been thinking that it will mean a lot more criss-crossing the park, which means more tired feet!

Those ride photos are awesome! And those dole whips look so good. We had the orange one as well, and I thought it was really good.

The line for HM is so neat, but I didn't realize it was a new feature.

Oh man, I laughed out loud at the Splash photos. They're awesome. I kind of want to show my DH them so he can get a smile out of them, but I'm afraid he'd really wanna do that when we're on Splash.


The FP enforcement time really does make you have to crisscross back and forth across the park, and it can become tiring after a while, but I'm glad to see you all were able to use your passes and ride everything you wanted.

When my mom went on Space, she said it was way too jerky for her liking, and she couldn't go on it again. And that used to be her favorite ride in WDW, so maybe it has gotten rougher since they revamped it.


The HM walkway can be kind of stressful when there's a lot of people moving really quickly. Which I don't understand...if you don't want to stop and look at the statues and interactive items, go through the fast line. I hope you had another chance to look around later on!

Looks like a fun morning in MK! Ugh, I'm so awful at Buzz, I never know where I'm supposed to be aiming! TSM is so much better!

Haha, I love your Splash pics, my DH always tries to make stupid faces on rides when they take the picture too, I sometimes feel bad if he ruins the picture for the other people on the ride with us!

Yum, Dole Whips! I kind of like the orange swirl better than the pineapple!

Glad I'm not the only one that is aweful at Buzz. I wsn't very good at TSM either unfortunately but kicked DD and DH's butts at Men In Black which is the same idea.
I like the pineapple Dole but I really liked the orange too.

It wasnt' all that bad crisscrossing bc we don't have a HUGE amount of rides on our lists anyway but my feet get sore on a good day at a park so they were bound to be be sore with the added criss crossing.

The HM graveyard was new for us. I'm not sure when it was done but it was definitely new since our last trip several years back.

I'm glad that we aren't the only ones that found it jerky. Was it redone recently?? that would definitely explain why we found it different. But then again - we found a few more coasters that seemed more jerky than we previously thought on this trip.

OK, we left off heading back to the Tomorrowland side of the park (AGAIN) lol. but we stopped on the way to get this pic...

and then we saw a photopass photographer and had to stp there for a bit too bc it was the FIRST time we ever did photopass (we found a photopass share to do and really enjoyed getting pics of all 3 of us). By the way I have to wait til everyone in the group has had time to do their edits which is why I don't have any of the pics to share yet.

anyway!! Getting OFF TOPIC here.

The REAL reason it took us so long to cross the park was that we spent too much time enjoying photo ops and got STUCK in the hub area by THIS!!!...

Bahahahahah!!! We are SSOOO not parade people and we were surrounded by this giant parade like Dance Party. haha. I didn't think it would take long so we just hung out and DD dug shiny mickey heads out of the gardens but the darn thiing just went ON and ON!!!! lol DD was emarassed to be standing amongst this little party and was worried they would come and drag her out to dance. HAHA.

Well, EVENTUALLY we realized that when they stopped on the circle they opened an area where people could cross over and as soon as DD realized it she was practially DRAGGING me out of there.

I'm sorry if this makes us sound UNdisney and like party poopers but we just are NOT huge parade fans

Once we were in the clear we continued on with our plans and headed over to catch the Laugh Floor show. It had a 20 min sign posted and I was SO not into waiting that long so I suggested we grab the people mover for a bit and so we grabbed a set of FP's for Buzz and rode People Mover...

putting on a little show for DD while she was taking our pics... LOL

Once we got off and headed to Laugh Floor we wakled in just on time for them to open the doors in the waiting area to the next show! GREAT TIMING!!!!! We really enjoyed the show! GREAT show for some good laughs.

It was now time for Buzz again It was good as it always is!

Then we took our time walking out of the park and doing some shopping on the way out. DH took a pic of the crowds...

and we caught the Ferry back to parking lot area...

It was HOTTT out now so it was a great time to leave the park and we only took a very short time to get back to the condo (we were back by 3) where DD hopped in and enjoyed the pool (I joined her for a few minutes in the water too and it was so refreshing on the sore feet).

This is where my plans changed. I totally was planning to have a dip in the pool and a quiet evening at the condo to be ready for rope drop at AK the next day but DD and DH had an itch to head back into MK. We had another visit planned but I'm all for changing things up a bit and we all felt rested after our break so headed back we did

We didn't plan to ride much so we shopped and this is when Dd's obsession with trying EVERYTHINg on her head started. LOL

From here on out she would be taking pics in every store of something on her head or she'd be hounding us to. haha

This is also when her love affair with Duffy Bear would start...

for those of you who havn't yet heard of Duffy - he's Mickey Mouse's teddy bear and DD14 thinks he's the bee's knees. LOL

We checked out Jungle Cruise and the wait was too long so we grabbed a FP and then split up with DH so he could do his FAVORITE "Blue Light" photos. It's that magical time of the day when the sky looks a beautiful rich dark blue in your photos.
Here are a few shots he got...

While he was relaxing and LOVING his blue light time DD and I decided to just wander around which was NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE!!! There is SSOOOO much going on in the park at this time of the evening that it's so hard to walk around from one side of the park to the other.

We eventually made our way to Snow Whites Scary Adventure and since it's shutting down dd and I decided that we wanted to do the 15 min wait for it (it was more like 10).

Once we got off we had to really boot it to meet up with DH by Jungle Cruise to use our FP's. Let me tell you... it was HARD!!!!! getting across the park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! parades going on and it was a nightmare getting there but dd held on to my shirt when need by and we wove in and out and made it back JUST on time!!!

Didn't need our FP's bc there was only a 5 min wait. LOL.
So, we enjoyed JC but our CM seemed high or something - she was Waaaay to hyper and practically screaming into her mic and I could barely make out what she said half the time. What a nut!!!!

We wanted to do People Mover again so we held on TIGHTLY to each other and made our way across the park AGAIN!!! lol.

By the Way - SO SORRY for the lack of pics during this time. It was just so busy in the parks and hard to get around we dind't stop to take many.

People mover was nice and calm and Buzz had next to no wait so DH and DD did Buzz next while I rested my weary weary feet!!

We did some more shopping on the way out to avoid the TOTAL CHAOS on Main Street while the electrical parade was going on...

oooh, a wall of mugs!! I must chose one before the end of the trip!!

and DD's obsession with putting things on her head continued...

these are 2 that she would debate over for the rest of the trip until she makes a decision.

At this point we were absolutely WIPED and decided we'd better get out of the park before the worst of the crowds did. Unfortunatley our timing was NOT good and the electrical parade had just ended so we were back to weaving in and out of the crowds which didn't play out so well bc DD got her foot caught UNDER SOMEONES WHEELCHAIR WHEEL! Poor thing She said it didn't hurt her foot too badly but MY flipflop that she was wearing was TOTALED!!!! She had to walk from main street - to the monorail, to the parking lot and up to the condo. Poor thing. She didn't worry too much though bc she was just happy to be on vacation.

In hindsight I wish we did NOT go into the park tonight. We were TIRED when we got back and I think if I had insisted on some down time right at the beginning of the trip my feet might not have been so sore later on.

Oh well - on the other hand I loved the night time feel too - if it weren't for crazy crowds we had to weave in and out of.


OK - next up is AK day. How many times can we ride EE?

We are not parade people either. Most of them just bore me. Except for the Electrical Parade. I love it. Mostly because it reminds me of my first trip to Disneyland, but it's just so pretty.

Duffy is just too cute! I ended up getting my son one on our last trip to Disneyland.

At this point DH and I were exhausted and had to just say no. She got over the sore toe real fast. She wasn't even limping so it couldn't have hurt too bad.

I was surprised it didn't hurt too!! She's usually REALLY good at putting on the drama for EVERYTHING!!! lol but I actually think she took it as a bit of an adventure having to trudge through MK with a bare foot. LOL. She was a trooper.

Thanks DH looooves blue light. Every time we went somewhere for the evening he had to bring along his stupid tripod!! We always tried to get in a few attractions so it got to be somewhat annoying that he was hauling his camera bag plus his tripod to the parks - it wasn't too long before I labelled his tripod the "FUN SUCKER" bc it was sucking the fun out of our park visits. LOL> I do only joke though bc I always appreciate the beautiful shots he gets in the end.
