We dealt with the SPIDERS...what will it be this year?

Sounds like a great weekend! Isn't it a difficult decision: WGP or EoS?

I am trying to plan in DTD time to eat at WGP and shop!

Good luck with your trainer!

Queen, I have lost 10 pounds in two months by following myfitnesspal.com - check out the site - it's great!

Thanks...I'll go check it out....and congrats on your weight loss:cool1:

Very difficult...I do love both of them, but I think I love WPE just a little more!! I can't get enough of the Butternut Squash Soup!

I'll keep you posted on the trainer!!

The girls both did great today! MM played a Mozart piece I wasn't familiar with but SW played Reflection from Mulan and it sounds beautiful! I will be sure to keep you posted .... I am really hoping for 15 - 20 pounds before we leave which is 2 months and 2 weeks...fingers crossed:cool1:

I can't believe those hours...that is gonna be brutal! Please tell DD to have an awesome trip....how much fun will that be...going on a trip with all your friends....I would have loved that at her age!!

Hope you get some sleep!!!

That's great! Always nice to hear when the chilluns do well. :goodvibes

Wow 15-20 pounds! You can do it!

I will pass the message on to DD... we'll see how coherent she is at 4am!

Sleep? We don' need no steenkeeng sleep!...

Raglan Road is one of our fav's...last year I had "It's Not Bleedin Chowder" and it was delish! I've also had the Sheperd's Pie which I too loved! The bread pudding is the best I've ever had...and I've had alot! Jasmine said the salmon was really good there too....that's her 2 cents as she just rolled outta bed:lmao:

All those choices sound super yummy! I've haven't had a good clam (I'm assuming that's what it is) chowder since I was in Nova Scotia. I'm not the biggest fan of bread pudding. Seems to resemble too much like a bowl of snot to me :rotfl: Please thank Jasmine for putting in her two cents despite just getting out of bed

I will post some pics tomorrow evening of the recital! I sure hope I can ... I keep thinking the power of positive thinking is huge!

4am is such a fun time to go to the airport isn't it?? Glad you feel that way about sleep....I'm off to bed now:lmao:

It's not a clam chowder...it's more of a seafood chowder with shrimp, mussels etc.....so good! I love clam chowder and had a great one at Captain's Grille if you're ever thinking of an ADR there! I love your description of bread pudding...glad I wasn't drinking anything at the time of reading that!:lmao: Jasmine's exact words "I do what I can to help" :rolleyes1 oh that girl...what am I going to do with her!!:rotfl2:

Hey, guess what ........... I am all caught up again! :lmao:

Looks like you had a fun weekend! :thumbsup2

I admire you for the weight loss attempt. I am kind of giving up on it. Tried to loose, but then there is something that throws me off and I gain more than I have lost! :sad2:

Our Trips coming up fast now!

Pics would be great! :goodvibes And yes, it's 5am and I'm back at work.:sad2:
Figured since I was in the area I might as well come in early and kick out the midnight shift... The dog was kind enough to be sick at 1:45am... ah well anything more than two hours sleep is for wimps! Right? Right?... Oh, it's gonna be a swell day...

Good luck with the trainer, I hope that it goes well for you!! It is always tough trying to lose weight, DBF and I are trying to eat healthier ourselves, but the weekends are always a struggle :headache:

I love a good pool and DTD disney day!!

Hey Karin...I know the feeling well! It seems lately that I get 15 minutes here and there but today is raining so hoping to get a great night of Dis-ing in!

Thank you....it is so tough but for health reasons I have to do this, I don't have a choice anymore in the matter! I will keep you posted!

I can't believe how quickly time is passing, before we know it we'll be there!!:yay:

I can understand the part of not going home since you were already in the area....I hope the midnight shift appreciated your generosity!:rolleyes1 Thank was so nice of the dog....

Yes...two hours is more than enough .... no really!!!!;)

I love a good pool and DTD disney day!!

I hope so too! This weekend I thought I did so well and was up a pound:headache: I did have 2 dinners out though, both Italian, so I think that's what happened there!

I agree about the weekends, even if we stay home, around 8ish I start the grazing process...not good! I did clean out the fridge, freezer and cupboards of all processed foods yesterday thought, so it's a beginning!!

I can't wait for that pool/DTD day....they are something we always look forward to!!

Hi Queen! Sounds like a wonderful weekend. Good for you on the weight loss plan, it is so difficult to stick to something like that but you sound really determined! I think I need a personal trainer that WILL scream in my face. ;)
We have never eaten at WPE at DTD, we always have to go to T-rex for the kids, but presumably their butternut squash soup is the same as WPE at Mall of America, which is to die for. Soo good!

Just found your PTR, really am enjoying hearing about your trip plans :)

I am really looking forward to hearing about how your ADR's went

Hi Queen!! Loving your updates. I bet MM & SW recital was fantastic! I would comment more, but with the laptop down, I am using the iPod....lol

Do you see a lot of little kids at Raglan Road? I've always thought It's Not Bleedin' Chowder sounded good, but I wasn't sure about the atmosphere for toddlers.

I'm glad the piano recital went well. :yay:

We have gone there a few times with DD from when she was three. The last time we went she was 7! We always were there before the 8pm time frame, so I not sure about after that time though! The food is fantastic, we have never had a bad meal there!

Sounds like a fun day with ur nieces. Sorry to read of ur health problems. Hope the meeting with the trainer went well. I 3nd the my fitness pal reccomendation. It is a good place to track everything. You will have to do a review of Cape May for me-we are going in Sep.

My family has never eaten there but captain's grille is one of the places my brother and his fiance are looking at for there honeymoon, can you please tell me what the restraunt is like and your reccomendations for it?

Hey Girl!!

I am determined...I met with the trainer last night and it went really well. Started my food journal today:cool1:

I had no idea there was a WPE at MoA....but then again I haven't been there since 2003:rotfl2:

Just found your PTR, really am enjoying hearing about your trip plans :)

:welcome:

I'm very happy you found us and that you're enjoying the report!!

I am really looking forward to hearing about how your ADR's went

I love food (as you could probably tell) and I love planning our ADR's and then using them:lmao: It's probably one of the things I enjoy the most....and I love trying ones we've never done before!

Hi Queen!! Loving your updates. I bet MM & SW recital was fantastic! I would comment more, but with the laptop down, I am using the iPod....lol

Hey Tiff!!

Both the girls did wonderful! After we all went to Paradise on Portage for Peg's birthday....how I love that restaurant....best Italian food in the city IMO:rolleyes1

Hope your laptop is up and running soon!!

I'm glad the piano recital went well. :yay:

We took Snow when she was 3 and MM was younger than that and it was great!! We had a 5ish ADR the last trip and there were families there with toddlers!

Hi Mary:hug:

I'll get these silly things licked...first step was meeting with the trainer/nutritionist!! I think keeping track of everything is key...exercise and food!! I gave her all my likes and dislikes (my dislike list wasn't long:rolleyes1) so she will have my meal plans ready by next Tuesday! This week I'm just following my old weight watchers book!!

I will definitely review Cape May for you! I too cannot wait to go!!

My family has never eaten there but captain's grille is one of the places my brother and his fiance are looking at for there honeymoon, can you please tell me what the restraunt is like and your reccomendations for it?

We really enjoyed Captain's Grille in the fall when we went...first off, the atmosphere in the hotel alone is wonderful! We had a very efficient server who couldn't do enough for us! Jas and I split the clam chowder for a started (one of our fav's and this one was delish) then I had the steak and potatoes which was very good and Jasmine had crab cakes which she devoured so I knew they must be yummy cause she never finishes a meal....EVER!!:lmao: I wasn't thrilled with the dessert options, but I think being full to the brim had something to do with it too!!!

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend. And you are starting with a personal trainer - that is so awesome! I would love that. I hope it went well and I hope the recital was great!

Wow I can't believe how far behind I am. :confused3

So sorry to hear about the tragedy in your family. It's going to take some time for everyone to come to grips with this.

I've been so busy at work and never seem to have time to get on computer for any length of time so when I was told at work that we have a mandatory layoff day for today and Friday and possibly Monday, I was so excited!!:thumbsup2

I've spent the day cleaning the house, changing sheets, had coffee and lunch in the gazebo. Had a client for a haircut this afternoon and spent an hour sitting in
the sun reading!!! What a great way to spend the day.:cool1:

I'm glad your trip to the states went well. BTW, did you buy those crackers for me? If you did, I will plan to pick them up from you this weekend!!
Or did you eat them?? lol They are good!
Hey, if you and Jaz are interested in a particular professional flat iron, let me know because I could get you one for wholesale price since I can shop at the wholesale beauty shops with my hairstyling lisence. I do it all the time for my clients.
Well, I hope you're enjoying your day and the sun!!! :yay:
I'm off to do some groceries now!

Debbie
