at the Artist Point? I made adr's for WCC but haven't considered artist point. Any advice would be helpful. I would like to have more dinner ressies at my hotel. :confused3

Artist Point is really nice. Food is great and they don't rush you like alot of the park rest. Not sure how kids would like it. Made us feel like we were back in Yellowstone at the Old Faithful Inn. Kids will love Wispering Canyon. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Artist Point is excellent. Some of my and DH's favorites are the cedar planked salmon, the smoky portobello soup, the pork chop with tilamook mac and cheese, the berry cobbler, and the cheese plate. Service has always been terrific and we really like their wine list.

On one visit, we had 8 in our party the night we visited WC. An another visit, we had 4. Both times, lots of fun but very noisy. Completely different atmostphere than Artist's Point, from what I hear.

All depends on the caliber vs. entertainment factor for your meal.....

We love WCC, AP & Roaring Forks at WL. They are all different. I know Roaring forks does not get good mraks a t DIS sometimes but we found it great. No it does not offer as much as the food courts at the Values or Mods, but it was alot better the Capt Cooks at poly.

I love Artist Point; we ate there twice in 2005. The food is great; I love the cedar plank salmon and the berry cobbler. Service has been good both times we've eaten there. Both times we've been the dinner has been relaxed and nice.

Oh, that berry cobbler is to die for. We now make it all the time at home. Maybe I'll make some tomorrow for the supper bowl.

AP is an excellent restaurant, especially since you'll be staying there. We invariably stay at VWL and always visit AP. The food is topnotch, the service superb, and the food wonderful (includes the wine list). It's an upscale restaurant, so a bit pricier than some others, but not out of line with a good restaurant in a major city. And there is Cubs' Den where you can make an ADR for your kid(s) to let them enjoy games, movies, and food while you dine with your sweetheart at AP. AP is kid-friendly, but can be boring for the younger crowd as the meal is leisurely paced and the ambience more grown up. I highly recommend AP, especially the smoky portobello soup, the buffalo or salmon, and the berry cobber. Bon apetit!
