Oh my Connie! I hope Dayne is okay. Hopefully it's just a strain and he will be feeling better. It stinks to be injured.

Can't wait to see your plans unfold. Would you like my brother to send Ashton another card from Disney? James brought me a ton of them during his last visit.

We received some junk mail for a TA today and I gave it to him he was so excited with his "Mickey Mail". We are going to try and make a countdown calender tomorrow!
Hope the girls had a fun day learning softball; I think I'm going to get Ashton a T-ball set for Easter.

need a short background story: I do not do the ER unless you are dying, bleeding, or the bone is sticking out! I worked in an ER for two years and could not believe the things people go to the ER for...most ER docs can only stablize until you see your regular doctor so I prefer to wait to just see the regular doctor--even with insurance its cheaper

Well, Dayne called me when he got in tonight and wanted to go get an x-ray, he did not think he could wait until Monday...and, he has to work tomorrow. With the MG holiday they are currently boarding over 75 dogs...

well, it is fractured...and of course he had to do it right...it is a small bone that does not receive a very good blood supply so it takes longer to heal
I hope the ortho is there Monday and not out of town...I was talking with one of the girls in the office Friday and he was out...

Forgot to mention: I completely agree with ERs. I only took Amy once for an injury because it was 9:00 and blood was gushing everywhere out of her toe.

It is their first year. They are really excited. I hope they love it too. I'd love for them to find a sport they really enjoy. Thanks for asking. If you have any tips please pass them along. Things have changed A LOT since I played as a kid.

Dayne has a walk in appt at 1:30 tomorrow...that's the nice thing about having worked for the doctor...we will be walking in the same time he is from his morning surgeries...
it's not a bad fx; it is where it is located according to the ER doctor that is the problem. The next problem is Dayne claims he is going to continue playing ball...so, I think he is going to have to be casted weather he like it or not. We'll see what the ortho says....

I started to make our Mickey heads today I want 65, I plan to pick up a poster board tomorrow and work on a countdown calendar tomorrow night! if it comes out I'll share photos...I still need to get my camera and computer to work together...they say they are connected but my pictures are not loading

Connie, So sorry to hear about Dayne. I hope that the ortho gets it through Dayne's head that he might not be playing any more ball for six weeks or so. Boys are so stubborn.

I am so sorry to hear about Dayne. I hope everything works out in the end. Maybe he'll learn something from the ortho today.

I need to start working on my countdown as well. We might switch from the Mickey heads this year and switch to the chain.

guys, you know I can't help but wonder if the CM's get a commission on the bookings...my CM was super friendly and all excited about Dayne's graduation and Luke's first visit...but, quickly became dry when I told her I wanted room only reservations...she tried her hardest to sell me a pkg and was ugly when I told her I did not want the DDP! she attached my two rooms to one ressie and we do not want DDP for the boys so we are just going OOP like last year...no biggie! we can do it cheaper! I'm not going to Disney for the food; I got that here!

I need to work on the countdown tonight; unless Danny surpises me in the next half hour and agrees to take Ashton to the parade (not) temps in the 30's not interested in standing out in that!


UPDATE: on Dayne
just as we were walking out the door today; my friend called to tell me the doc has an emergency surgery so we are now going to see him Thursday! but she did pull up the xray report and the films for the doc to see when he gets back to the office or he can view them from the hosp...so, if he feels he needs to be seen before than he will call. But, the radioligist had in his report it was not displaced, it was in the radius navaculiar bone of the wrist (she read the report to me on the phone).
