Hello! everyone
thanks for the well wishes!!
we spent most of the morning outside in the sunshine, blowing and chasing bubbles and riding bikes and bouncy balls; Ashton seems to feel better--in a really good mood...I can't shake what I have...I think I'm going to switch back to benadryl and see if I can't shake the allergy portion of it! at least the fever is gone...

Dayne's best friend was checked out of school today by his mom; she was sleeping in and her alarm went off--when she walked out of her room a guy was running out of her house! she was home alone!!! --makes me sooooo happy the Joe is here almost all the time!! I am going to have to start setting our alarm again...:confused3 ....we are in the woods and all our neighbors pretty much work in the day so I'm alone with 2 three yr olds most of the time!(they live about 8 mi from us but still this is something none of us had to worry about out this way!)

:wave2:

How scary for her. We live in a quiet neighborhood and everyone works during the day. Don't tell anyone but it is rare we lock our doors. I've been known to leave the garage door open all night. I know when we first moved out there and I locked myself in the back yard I yelled forever and no one rescued me. I finally had to break out a window to get in. Of course that was a story all it's own. When we lived in town someone broke in and took all my jewelry but nothing else. Makes no sense. I can't imagine having someone in my house. That is just too frightening. You can't be too careful. You have my little prince to look after.

Connie, glad you were feeling good enough to go out and enjoy the sunshine. I hate these colds/flus that linger and linger.

How scary for Dayne's best friend's mom. That would have freaked me out (like the coyote in my back yard yesterday!). :scared1:

It's weird that you mentioned coyotes. We have been hearing an entire pack (or whatever they are called) of coyotes out in the woods behind our house. They are so loud that we hear them inside the house while we are watching television.

This coyote I had seen Sunday night when I took Cookie out front for her "business." I literally dragged the poor thing back in the house not knowing what the coyote would do. Then yesterday, as I was standing in the kitchen putting my coat on to leave for work and watching Cookie out the patio door do her "business", the coyote walked right by her within two feet of her. I, of course, immediately lost ten years off my life (besides the other 20 I've lost over the last two weeks) and yelled to Mark to get my darn dog in the house. He got her leash and opened the door and the coyote walked right back by Cookie. Cookie just stood there and looked at this coyote while I stood there holding my breath that the coyote was NOT going to have Cookie for breakfast. Scared the living you know what out of me.

Holy smokes! I'd have been scared to death too. At the rate you're losing years these days, you'll soon be a teenager again!

Wow I would be SO scared of someone in my house too!!

The apartments I used to live in before I moved back in with my parents, used to be subsidized and so it brought a lot of bad people into that area.

So, I was living all by myself then and my friend would come over and tell me how she used to live there (when it was still subsidized) and she and her brother came home and there was someone running out of their house!! I was like "WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME THAT AND FREAK ME OUT WHEN I AM ALL ALONE?!?!"

Luckily, it wasn't as bad when I was there. They quit subsidizing it because so much stuff like that was happening. But whenever she would tell me that, it would scare me so much!!

Kathy, that Coyote stuff is awful. I would have been scared to death, let alone poor Cookie. I' amazed she could still do what was needed. My Princess would have been like the dog on that commercial watching the scary show and pee'd all over the floor.

Whoa! Kathy
poor Cookie...the last wild animal we have seen was a beautiful red fox last December! for the snow...we had a rabbit that we watched grow up in the back yard (at least we think it is the one) and we watched the fox and rabbit run the width of the property before going off into the woods next door! I'm sure we have coytes just luckily we haven't seen any...that was our second fox! since living here (that we have seen)...nature can be beautiful but scary too...I'd rather deal with them than the humans who go where they are uninvited!

Glad to hear you are back with your parents!; in that case!!you and Landon do not need to be in the midst of that! Although I'm sure living on your own was a nice break for you...

Look at the Orb on Gwendolyn's neck :scared1:.

I was wondering if any one was going to notice :lmao:
I always say I have spirits hanging around us...I think it is our guardians...
:hmghost: but isn't it great for the halloween pictures!!!
They were in the block tower picture too!

Me too. I just thought it was reflection of something or it was one of my pictures cause we all know how good I am at pictures.

I'm glad Ashton is feeling better, I know how much I worry about Dallas when he gets sick, so I can imagine how worried you get. Sometimes I think being a nurse makes it worse because my mind always goes haywire. I will keep you in my prayers and hope you are better soon.

:scared1: for Dayne's friend's mom. I would have been terrified. I keep my alarm set almost all of the time. It is really a shame that the honest people have to be locked inside while the criminals are free to do what they want. I am scared to watch the news and I am scared not to. On Fox right now there has just been a shooting at Fort Hood with 7 killed and 12 injured. I never use to be scared to go out at night, I would go everywhere, NOW I'm scared to go out during the DAY :sad2:.

One of my co-workers came in last night crying, she was so upset. She has a couple of beautiful German Shepards and she treats those dogs like her kids. Well, right before she came to work last night a black bear killed one of her dogs right in her back yard. Her backyard butts up to a wooded area and where she lives black bear are common. We see Red Fox all the time around my house.

They were in the block tower picture too!

I think it is neat, as long as they are friendly spirits. In one of the castle pictures on my TR there is an orb behind the castle. Lisa needs to take some pictures in her office to see if she captures any orbs there.

Sorry to hear about your co workers babies! There have been bear sightings on the south side of the Hwy (where Gwendolyn & Joe are planning to move) in the swamp areas. We have been lucky that we have had no evidence of them since we moved here. I know when we first moved here the kids were always telling me about the wild hogs...I wanted to move...Danny said they had them on the southshore too! we have seen deer, fox, rabbits, coons (one was climbing the siding on the house at 2 in morning once--sounded like the house was being ripped apart), turkeys, I know there are coyts I just haven't seen any! I think the outside dogs keep them away.

Hey Connie,
Sorry I have been MLIA for a few days. Sounds like you had some great halloween fun!
Hope you and Peter Pan are feeling better. Emily stayed home from school today sick, and I think I'm getting what she has.
Scary to hear about Dayne's friend. It's just so sad that some people take what does not belong to them after the person has worked hard for it just because the burgler has no life. O.K done rambling.

Totally agree with you! Makes me angry to think about that. :sad2:

Hey Barabara
sorry to hear about Emily hope she is feeling better...I think we are finally just about finished with ours! :yay: I turned on the A/C for about an hour today just to get the heat from the kitchen out and it helped with our breathing...so that just justified my thought in that it is allergies. uugghh!!

yes it is sad about the break in...thank goodness she was not hurt and they did not take anything!
:wave2:

I'm just dropping in to say hi, Connie! :wave2:
