Good morning Connie. Hope you are having a good Friday. It is beautiful here and is to be all weekend. We will take full advantage of it. Tonite is the DECA volleyball tournement at school. Austin and his friends are playing. They are wearing black spandex of course with their wigs and someone has a bedazzler and they have bedazzled headbands and sequins on their...well, I have to say outfits cause they are no longer uniforms. Should be fun. Will try to get pictures.

Give my precious Peter Pan big hugs and kisses for me and have a good day.

Ginny

Hey Barabara
sorry to hear about Emily hope she is feeling better...I think we are finally just about finished with ours! :yay: I turned on the A/C for about an hour today just to get the heat from the kitchen out and it helped with our breathing...so that just justified my thought in that it is allergies. uugghh!!

yes it is sad about the break in...thank goodness she was not hurt and they did not take anything!
:wave2:

Hey Connie,
Emily is feeling better. She is on an antibiotic and sleeping right now. Glad to hear you two are feeling better.
Yes, thank goodness she is okay. Did the police catch the guy?
Have fun with Peter Pan today! Hope you guys have great weather.

Hey! April, Mel, Ginny, Kathy, Barbara, Nicki, & Jen...
thanks for stopping by today!!! we are feeling better...at least I am, thankfully. Ashton did not eat well today; we went out to dinner and he wanted Gumbo they did not have that; I should have ordered their soup, crawfish and swiss cheese soup :confused3 --was not sure about that one, so I ordered a baked potato--well that is NOT what he wanted...uugghh!

Nicki & Jen...I love nap time...I just wish Ashton would take one everyday...he did today :yay: and so did Chloe and I :lmao: I woke up at 5 to receive Chloe; Ashton woke up too! stayed up woke up Dayne for school...was suppose to pick up my mom at 7 to bring her to the doctor but she called at 6:30 to say she changed her mind--try to go back to bed but Ashton decided no go ...
he is currently sleeping so I am currently trying to play catch up on here!

just curious anyone have any suggestions for Christmas gifts for a three year old! I was going to do a train table but with the current living arrangements that is out of the question...:santa:

:wave2: everyone have a great weekend!!

we are all just thankful Julie was not hurt!!

Wow Connie..so glad your friend Julie is okay. I'm here by myself (with the girls of course) at night 4 out of 7 days. JMy Joe has a crazy schedule . Money and benefits are excellent so we make do but stories like your friend Julie's make me a little nervous. Glad to hear you're feeling better! :goodvibes

That is why it is great that you have Nellie there with you!! even if she did try to lick them to death...they would not know that...:lmao: is she old enough to bark at anyone; our 8 mo old lad "buddy" is just starting to bark when people drive up...he thinks its time to eat :rotfl: Danny and/or Dayne usually feed him when they get home!

Julie's back door is a set of French doors that are very easy to push open (I have one like that--Danny reinforced it yesterday--I think Walter did theirs, too! )my bad thing is that I hardly ever set the alarm anymore...and we have been sleeping with the windows open...as I said before I am just thankful Joe is here with us after Danny leaves for work!

Stay safe and have a great weekend!

Glad you are feeling better Connie. I am too. It is all in my head now and I refuse to take one more pill. I got off at 2 today and came home and chatted with Don. At 6 we went to the volleyball tourney at the high school. It was such fun. I will post pics tomorrow on my thread. Those boys are just goof balls. Makes one so proud. Austin had on his spandex shorts with hot pink shorts over them. He was so cute? They had fun. We left before it was over but he was glad we came and cheered them on. It was nice to see Sheri today. I missed her really bad this past week. She has a busy day tomorrow but we are going to her house for dinner tomorrow night.

Hope you get some rest. That is all I do. I've been sleeping a good 8 hours a day and still feel sleepy. I think I've become lazy. A pretty weekend on track for us.

Hope to talk to you tomorrow.

Ginny

You could do a GeoTrax set. That is what Mitchell got when he turned three. It's not TOO big, but you will need some floor space. We had it all set up so when he woke up that morning, it was the first thing he saw! It was his big present from Santa. Or maybe a riding toy of some sort. Mitchell was just learning to pedal his tricycle at that age, so he might enjoy a big wheel or something that's low to the ground. I don't remember what else he got that year. I do know that Mitchell enjoyed his tent too. He'd sit in his little tent for hours playing.

Good luck! I'm having trouble this year deciding what to get Mitchell. He wants everything he sees on TV. I do know that he's getting a razor scooter. I've ordered it already. It has red on it, Mitchell's favorite color, so I know he's gonna love that!

Glad you started for Mitchell! Dayne had gotten his big bike the year he turned 5! Dayne was also into lego's that year, and he got his 5 in 1 game table that year!!he and the neighbors kids would play with that for hours!!

Ashton has a trikeyear before last), he got a big wheel last year (and still does not want to pedal--he goes faster with his feet! ), he has the F150 truck at my parents house), he has two car tracks he got last year (one is McQueen and is rated for a 5 yr old -Danny's sister gave him that one it is in my closet--too big to leave set up and very fast worried about his fingers), we talked about a swing set but he does not like to swing--he loves to climb and Danny will not let me get him anything I have been wanting to get a little tikes or step 2 playset (he is starting to get to big now) just don't know what to get...his tent is put away for now! I do like the Geotrax but space is the issue...

keep the ideas coming...I'm sure I;ll come across something we like:hug:

Mitchell is really, really into Legos this year, too! Must be a five year old thing! We've got K'Nex sets, too, and that's a big hit around our house. I hate picking up all of the pieces, though.

Hmmm, I'll have to keep thinking on ideas for a three year old. The playset sounds like a wonderful idea. I've been begging DH since Mitchell was two to get a swingset in the backyard and by the time he finally decides to let Mitchell have it, he won't be interested anymore. :headache: My DH procrastinates HORRIBLY. I still love him, though!

Does Ashton like music? Mitchell got a piano that year, too. A small upright with a little chair and everything. He still plays with it to this day. He also got a Thomas the Train laptop computer that got tons of action. Last year he got a small drum set and a guitar and he's got his own little music corner. Very fun. Very noisy, too!

I'll keep thinking.

We have a music corner! no guitar though!
Dayne had a plastic box that had a wood top with the plates for the lego's glued to the top that I bought at a craft fair and he was really good about keeping his pieces in it (only thing in his life :lmao: )but a nice size rubbermaid container would do the same thing--as a lego box.

He does like the laptops everytime we pass them in the aisle that is an idea
:thanks:

We have a box with a handle that his K'Nex came in. THat table for Legos is an awesome idea. I will have to see if I can find something like that. Out of our three bedrooms, the one Mitchell has is the smaller of the three. The other is our "office". Sooo, we're planning on redoing the office and making it Mitchell's new bedroom. New larger bed, paint, the works. He wants it space themed, so I'm thinking of incorporating some of his CHristmas into his new room. New bedspread, planet mobile, lava lamp, stuff like that. This just keeps getting more expensive by the minute!

Oh, and if Ash is into Lightning McQueen, Mitchell has an awesome Lightning McQueen laptop, too! And Mitchell totally "jams" out his new guitar, so you can complete Ashton's music corner with a new Jammin' guitar! And if Ashton is into Toy Story, they have all of those great new toys out, too.

Want to hear a bummer? Last year, Mitch went to a little boy's house who had a Woody doll and a Buzz Lightyear. He loved those toys so much, I knew he had to have them for CHristmas. Well, I couldn't find them anywhere, so I searched the internet high and low until I found both. I was so proud of them and I just knew that my little Mitchlett was going to be in hog heaven. He hardly acted excited when he got them. ANd he hardly plays with them at all. They were a small fortune. And noooowwww, those toys are EVERYWHERE! Ugh. Can you believe it???

We went to Walmart and bought the new "Tinkerbell" movie...Ashton and I can't wait to watch it!!! Chloe wanted to take it home :lmao: not today I have to see it first!

But, first we have to watch LSU take on BAMA
GEAUX TIGERS! won the first half see if they can pull off the second half!but the defense needs to be sure to hold it together!! first!

Edit: So, the tigers lost...too many big injuries...sad sad back up quaterback and some serious bad and lack of calls! It was an exciting game to watch until the end of the third quarter...even I seen calls that were missed...and Les Miles needs to put in some serious back up on that team! Go luck to BAMA w/FL that should be a good game; hopefully Bama can pull it off!

Enjoy the movie! That will give Chloe something to look forward to when she comes back to you. I wanna see it, too! Can't wait to hear how Ash likes it.
