Hi Connie!! So good to put a face (and a real name) with your screen-name! LOL! I was finally able to jump over here and read your PTR!

I voted September (although now I see you are leaning toward Nov!) because if I'm in Florida I want the weather to be warm. And I picked CBR...because I'd like to stay there someday! But...we've stayed at POR for our past two trips and walked over to POFQ and it is beautiful! Ash would love the pool! And the beignets are TO DIE FOR!

I'm so glad to be in on a 2010 PTR! Many of the ones we both have been reading are ending soon, so it will be fun to have yours to follow! Plus...I have no idea when we will get back so I need to live vicariously through someone!

Can't wait to hear more of your planning and to chit-chat with you!

Way to go. Make it last as long as you can. That really sounds like a good idea.

On our birthdays you get to pick your meal either cooked or out and dessert. On Andrews this year he picked fried chicken, mashed taters, biscuits and gravy. Mike happens to make this better than anyone I know and we don't get it often because of the calories. Sheri is picking some po dunk place in Parsons Kansas. We ate there on my birthday last year. Really good onion rings. Then of course she will pick something else in Kansas City. She is the picker all weekend. Of course we all like the same foods. Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, California Pizza Kitchen. I guess the diet will wait till Labor Day. I haven't done well this week. Don just made toffee popcorn. He sure knows how to do it. Have a super duper day tomorrow with the youngins.

Goodness Gracious, that fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy sounds good, even at 8:30 in the morning. My grandmother made that so wonderfully. I miss her so. All the food you mentioned sounded so good! I guess I'm a little hungry today. I've been dieting all week!

I was planning to do this in October; but, as you mentioned many of the the TR's that we chat on are almost to the end!!! and I'm so excited that Danny agreed we could go back, I have been in planning mode ever since!!!!--the only thing I worry about in Sept is the weather; and I REALLY want to see the magic of Christmas! (it's just sooooo far away! )

So, we are not going out tonight. We are saving it for tomorrow night. Danny needs to work late and dayne is going to the jamboree tonight. That's ok, its just a day and this way I can really stretch it into the weekend.

We just came in! As I mentioned on Ginny's thread...

So, I woke up early to receive my special little at 5 am;
stayed up until 6 to wake up Dayne--who informed me he was up at 3 am to get a hot shower(he does not feel well) and than had a nose bleed and did not intend to go to school. After a nice heated argument and him winning (sort of--he is unable to use his car all weekend!) I let him stay him from school.

Needless to say I did not return to bed for my early morning nap as I usually do until 7:30 am! 3 woke up around 6:45 so we woke up watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, ate breakfast, did our lessons, watched Dora and than Diego while I went take a shower.

We left for 9:30 went to the bank, and than we picked up Wendy's and went to the cement pond (we got there around 10:10--I did not know Wendy's served lunch befre 10:30 ). Well, is sound asleep and will not go to sleep. I did not sleep well last night and was looking forward to a quick nap w/the tots before we went to Bay St. Louis tonight!

Danny was home before we got home; he was watching when I walked in; I said I was going lay down w/ for him to sit w/

He is now in bed SNORING; so even if I wanted to go to bed I would not be able to sleep!!!!

Oh! well! maybe I'll got another shower and get ready for this afternoon!!!

Sheri got up this morning and fixed Austin breakfast before school and he said he didn't feel well and wouldn't eat. Everytime she asked what was wrong he didn't have an answer. She finally figured out it is just nerves for the first game tonight. He always gets that way. We just forget one year to the next. Glad Danny came home early and you get to go out tonite for your Birthday dinner. Hope it is something yummy.

I would say a nap on the couch would be in order but I bet by now everyone is up. Hope your birthday weekend goes great.

My little one loves those, too! Just had them for supper the other night. I had salad or something, DH had leftovers and salad, and he wanted ABC's. I had a coupon, so I bought several and Mitchy loves them.

Don't you just hate it when you need a nap and DH gets one instead! And then mine is like, "well, if you're tired take a nap!" I would if you'd wake your butt up!

So, I should be in bed but quick update...
we did not do much for my b-day on Thursday (Gwendolyn & Joe went pick up BBQ and a cake) dayne went to his jamboree. On Friday we were late leaving to go to Hollywood casino in Bay St. Louis (Gwendolyn had an interview to sit w/a 15 yr old boy after school--he has Aspergers). Well Danny, Dayne, Ashton & I left before my parents and Gwendolyn &Joe. We went ride to see the Waveland Beach area--they have beautiful homes going up in the area! We had a wonderful time at the Hollywood and as always the crabs were great!

Well, as everyone that follows along knows I have not been sleeping so I was lucky enough that after waking at 5;00 am to recieve Chloe this morning her dad decided to come pick her up at 10:45. I took a benedryl at 12:00 (having breathing problems after all the smoke last night) and went take a three hour nap (boy I needed it that). Dayne and danny played with Ashton and left me alone!!!!

I cooked hamburger steaks /w mashed potatoes (after reading Lisa's report w/Lacey's mashed potatoes) and Gwendolyn & Joe brought home a galloon of New Orleans Dacquaris --190 Octane. I don't think Danny will bother me tonight!!!!

So, it may not have been a extravgant b-day weekend but it was wonderful to SLEEP!!! and now we are ALL LAUGHING at the Wii game!!! We had a fun time together and enjoyed an evening of family time!!!!

Danny just decided to go wax the front of the car "love bugs" are HERE!!! but look at the time!!!! I may actually get to bed before him and might be able to SLEEP!!!!

OH! and Dayne said he has two other friends interested in his Sr. trip to WDW!!! so he only needs to find one other person. So, I guess I'll start researching him a trip to the world in May. I may even check out grad nites for him!!! hoping they come out with some great deals!!!

Good morning Connie. Sounds like you had a wonderful birthday. I have been known to like those quiet ones. Wish I had those crabs. We drove over to Pittsburgh, KS to eat at a chicken joint. It was so good. So Sheri says since we ate there last night and her birthday isn't till Wednesday, that next Saturday we have to go to Olive Garden. Aust wants Red Lobster since it is ayce shrimp. Aust is by himself till late Tuesday (Don and Mike are going to Andrews soccer game) so I thought I'd give him money for him and a friend to go to RL after football practice.
